as i've said before hotspot looks improved from last year, but hawkeye is still a grey area, with dubious 'umpire's call' to add to the confusion. a good recent example would be last natwest odi, nigel llong turned down bopara's appeal for lbw which seemed like a good decision cuz it was sliding down leg or just marginally clipping leg, but hawkeye showed 'magical' results, it said it was crashing fine into leg (it was hawkeye here that looked dubious to me), but still it was less than half the ball as it missed by just milimeters. moreover, england lost their review with that, and next over broad appeal was turned down which was clearly out. had england not lost a review in earlier 'umpire's call, broad would've surely got one next over..

moreover money is the issue, everybody is attacking bcci, but what about lanka - pak series which doesn't have drs, neither in odi nor in test...its clearly money issue. lanka didnt even opt for hotspot cameras in the england series cuz of the expenses.
