Prove yourself that you have the mental courage to perform in a crucial match. It is only the mental power of Dhoni and Yuvraj which brings the World cup for India, not the childminded Sachin or this bloody guy who perform once in a year and make a show off which will do nothing for the team. First prove yourself and then comment.

Amal, what do you do for the country other than taking cr@p on the footpaths and railway tracks?
Viru,Gambir,Sachin,Dravid,Ganguly,Harbhajan are Captains for 20-20 IPL but the way Dhoni achieved with his Captaincy in all IPL, none of the above named could achieve. Why Viru couldn't think of these IPL and ChampionShip matches also won by Dhoni besides Two World Cup Victories ?
it was NOT JUST STRONG TEAM....BUT BRAVE HEARTED YUVRAJ WHO SAILED INDIANS ACROSS WORLD CUP....for a moment just take off yovraj from the world cup team and imagin..? you would not have qualified even for qtr finals?
Bookies wanted India to win. Remember Sachin got multiple lives during the pakistan match. Australia played at sub par level during quarter finals. Pakistani cricketers are very poor and are easy to lure. Australians were promised more money than they earned after winning the previous 3 world cups.

world cup win..was an endless effotrs of YUVRAJ who with CANCER fought till the end...just emagin world cup team without YUVRAJ...we would have not even qualified for qtr finals? USELESS,dhoni in final chose to bat nefore YUVRAJ and took the credit...shewag is right
Viru has a point, having a strong team will enable the captain to steer the team greater success. They say the captain is as good as his team! A captain has multitude of roles to play on the cricket field. He has to lead the team, take critical decisions, motivate team when its doing bad, keep the team firmly grounded during success waves etc Here the role of the team cannot be questioned, at the same time the captain's role becomes that much more harder in leading a star studded team where most players are also larger than life personas who come in with a truck load of ego, problems etc. Leading an array of superstars is a far greater challenge than leading and motivating a bunch of youngsters. Stronger team also comes with its share of challenges and it is not always easy to manage a star studded team.

Viru is just getting jealous! Did mahindra dhoni ever say that thw world cup was won by him alone??? if he had made that foolish statement that dhoni was surely at fault and if Dhoni had not made such a comment,viru is getting worked up for nothing!we must thank BCCI for choosing not to play Test Cricket in future and for playing only one day or 50 over or 20 over matches only and this must be done on our soil also.Test Cricket has wasted millions and millions of our working hours for the past 60 years and more and made us poor forever too and for the nation to be a super power test matches and bollywood must be banned too

You forgot 2003 WC was played in South Africa. 2011 WC was played on home soil with fixed matches.

Dhoni had the weakest bowling attack of the top 5 nations. Still he managed to shuffle them well. The way he makes chennai superkings perform is awesome. National teamwise, captaining a team with greats in it is not easy. You have to win their confidence which Dhoni did splendidly. Face it guys he is the ideal captain. A bit negative when it comes to defending totals though
Whats this guys problem, is it that he has been removed from vice captain post why is he spopiling the team spirit, do we need such fellows in the team!

friends please understand...the same strong team didn't win the final, but dhoni alone took us through...shewag has lost his way in the big final where he never performs when there is a need and Sachin went soon as well...Shewag cries foul because he or gambhir was not made the vice captain so that they can take care of the helm in case dhoni decides let go captaincy. Ganguly had a strong team, Rahul had a strong team at their disposal...why they didn't win a world cup...because even though they are great players..they are not as good as a leader like dhoni...keeping cool is something you need to have...that will either come by birth or by practice, which both shewag and gambhir don't have...

Mr. Das.. its a big joke.. when australia won the world cup 4th time.. no one was giving credit to Pointing.. but were saying that won because they had a strong team.. Go and check the facts.. Pointing has allways scored runs when they needed.. like the final againist india etc.. and all his test wins were because he use to perform almost every match..
