then his presence should be enough even after he retires...he can be present at the stadium and that sould be enough for us to win the matches....
though i wonder where that inspiration went in 3 whitewashes 2 in tests and 1 in odis...
that some great reasoning that it does not matter even if he fails his presence is enough! very funny!!

It is time for Tendulkar to say bye to ODIs as well. He has score more than 50 centuries in this format and he has set a milestone that will be difficult to pass for the next 5-6 years atleast. ODIs formats are the future of cricket and we must develop talents to remain in top few positions. As long as we give SRT the "Choice" to play, we will never be able to experiment with a young talent and nurture. It is time for SRT to say bye to this format. I personally feel, he still has few series left in him in the Test format and he is just few (2?) centuries less than the majical number 50. We can afford to have him in Tests, allow him to achieve 1 more milestone as well, but not in ODIs and T20s. The game is getting faster and faster and SRT is not getting young. It is time he realises this and bid good bye in a respectful manner. He could still be with the game by associating himslef in some way or the other, but now by playing.
SACHIN IS GETTING MONEY HE WILL PLAY CRICKET. SHAMLESS CRICKETER. NEED TO BE BANNED FOR WHOLE LIFE. HOW COULD AZHARUDDIN FIX THE MATCH WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF MAIN PLAYERS LIKE SACHIN.

Sachin could have been innocent there. But what he's doing here exhibits clear selfishness and "I can do whatever I want" attitude.
The selectors should decide when he should be rested, and not he himself.
