see the second test - it is a dead wicket (for a moment forgetting rain) this will only kill the test cricket and every one will piling runs and setting records - please understand is no different , it only kills the interest in test matches .Except in England , SA and Australia rest of the cricket playing countries the pitches should be changes .Leave job to curators and is time like Umpires we need to ICC panel of curators and the job should be left to them .Prepare wickets which are fair to bowlers and batsmen .Other wise these are "kill joy"
unless we change our flat wickets whr batsmen pileup 500 in tests and ends up a draw.... rather the pitches shld be such that scores at each inngs shld not go beyond 350 plus...... then test matches will bcom exciting......

We did a similar thing for hockey, we changed our grass turf and switched to astro-turf suited for foreigners. That move, damaged our hockey beyond repair.
young lot is waiting ex. shikar diwan, a. rayudu, a rahane etc to indian team before finalizing selectors should think consider young lot who has proven in recent IPL5

Venkat, what is wrong in Dsouza's comment? IPL CANNOT be the platform from which players are picked for 50 overs or tests. Else, we will have all flat track bullies in the team....

Ya bhajji can atleast prolong the days of defeat by milking & conceeding easy runs to opposition & will therefore help the opposition to put up a mammonth total and take bit more time before declaring!!
