BCCI is opposing the use of DRS because it will eat into their profits from media telecasting rights. As mentioned in the last para of the article the use of DRS costs Rs. 1 lac per day. If the telecastor bears this cost ie Rs 5 lacs for test matches the profit for BCCI will decrease, which is a purely a business body and cares a damn for cricket
