even with 351 WI wud have been lost that test..there is no surety how WI batsman going to perform in second inning..Lara already ensure that his team shud not have to play second inning..selfish inning was sachins 241 agsnt aus where lakshman score classic 178 with better strike rate. tell one inning where sachin contribute 50% runs out of inning total (barring 136 agst pak). for winning the test matches u need to capture opponents 20 wkt..this is not lara;'s fault. tell me which batsman score 221 & 130 & still thier team lost, 202, 196, 176, 182, 226, 178, 147 & 87 he contribute 50-60% towards inn total. still windies lost thse game. 182 was only centry of Adelaid test by either side which was huge still windies lost. there r many more cases. If sachin score 194 in multan sehavag already hit 309 but aur bawler who took 20 wkt and won that test.
