India hopefully now is realizing the worth of Anil Kumble- the most under rated cricketer ever who did a yeoman service to Indian Cricket. He was a bowler who the captain could turn to in every scenario..be it taking a wicket or bottling one end up. Current crop of spin bowlers including Bhajji do not have the class or ability of Jumbo. It has been proved that a bowler like Kumble will come once in a century.had he been given more opportunities by ganguly whose bhajji fascination is well known..he would have gone to take more than 700 wickets and set up more victories for India.
in this article is hard to miss. Who is this fellow anyway? A paki? Fast lively tracks should be laid for domestic cricket but when teams like aus,eng ,sa come visiting , they should be played on turning tracks only, to 'Test', their technique as they do to us when we go on tours.
WE should be with our strength that's spin in india. when foreign player came an play criket they also trouble by indian spinner. so i prefer a spin track when any opp. team came to an indian soil. when we go away and play cricket they make the fast track opp. of our so why should we give an edge to them for making fast and flat track.
There is no motivation to play with passion - they do just enough so that they are not dropped. I think they do this because they dont want to injure themselves and miss out on the IPL riches.
by nature are corrupt, greedy and fattu...see how sachin is carrying on even after getting humiliated again and again....all team players like lara waugh inzimam retired in their prime but marathimanhooos selfish to core wants to loot all he can
There are a few posts that calls for the head of the coach - in this case Duncan fletcher.
while the sentiments are appreciated, thinking deeply, just what is the role of a coach?
Practically nothing.
Frankly, I dont understand what a coach can do under the circumstances..
1) Fletcher does not have the right to choose the players.
2) He has not spent enough time with the team to get to know the psychology of each closely
3) He is not there to teach batting or bowling techniques. We have cricketers in the team (atleast 8 of them) who have played more number of tests and more ODI's than Fletcher
4) Coach may not decide or take on match calls on behalf of the captain,
Honestly, if the team performs then the coach is seen in good light, if it fails (due to inherent problems and issues ) then the coach is blamed.
I dont see a reason in Ganguly blaming the Indian coach for the debacle. Or he should clarify in which areas the coach failed specifically.
I think there is a serious lack of form or potential with the indian team that is the cause for this failure.. there is probably no lack of strategy or direction.. given the following cricket has with so many heavyweights throwing their might to provide suggestions / comments, there is certainly no dearth of plans or strategy.
The players experienced enough and they dont require special coaching.

He has lost 11 tests as coach of England & India. At the age of 65 hee should be retired.
India will loose the match and it is expected. It is a bit diappointed for complete whitewash.
If you want to win abroad, you should have aggressive captain. Dhoni is a toothless captain. He just ride on his luck and home advantage. When everyone praised Dhoni for his captaincy i really had a doubt on his ability. Now this defeat clearly torched light on his ability as a captain. Especially for a test cricket. For test cricket you should have a very agressive captain.
Dhoni is too defensive and he didn't mentor any new young players. I think India is moving in wrong direction.
