Re: Why only Dravid?

anil ,
May be dravid is to be dropped because he comes from Karnatka and since the BJP rules Karnatka , He is possibly being victimised ? Come man take a chill pill ... he & Laxman has the poorest avg and both of them are frontline batsman . They need to pull up their socks and there is not politics in this
While accepting that Dravid did not bat to his expectations, he is being targetted the way he got out "bowled". otherwise he was the top scorer in 2011, and it was Dravid who lonely faced England. None of the other including Sachin. If one's career can be decided just because of failure in one series, then immediately after the England series, Sachin should have been dropped. If age is the factor, then Sachin is just 3 months younger than Dravid.

I agree. While Dravid lost his wicket mostly defending his wicket, Sachin was out more because of his over defensive attitude. It is clearly evident that he can not play any more cricket with carrying monkey on his shoulders. Only hope is the forthcoming ODI series where he can not play defensive but his natural batting. He may get a century in the bargain and retire with honour.
BCCI Should start taking young talents and stop relying on these oldies, sachin, dravid, laxman we can only win with srilanka, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh and if we go to England or Australia get humiliated.
Baghwan bhala kare india cricket team aur Board ka.
Dont go watch and IPL watches. Let this season of IPL flop badly. It is the responsibility of we the people to make IPL no show and make all the franchise to go under loss. In this way Indian players will learn the lesson. We should make all effort to stop IPL by not buying any tickets for a single match and also by not watching it on TV. Let the matches flop badly. All the players will have to be punished by not paying them any money for 2 years and no advertisers should approach them and also should cancel all their existing contracts with any brands.

Sorry Corrction:

Wins & defeats are part of a sport but Indian team shamefully surrendered to Aussies without putting up a fight, exception Kohli & Yadav. So, who is to blame for this second successive debacle?
The Submissive Team: Indians looked like lambs getting ready for slaughter and it was frustrating to watch them go down without putting up a fight. Loved the outburst of Kohli after his century but wish the entire team had worked themselves to that level of determination. Success only comes to those who try and Kohli's 100 was result of his focus, determination to succeed, and respond to the Aussie aggression.
Tactless Coach: Duncan Fletcher is no Gary Kirsten and he has failed to get the best out of senior or junior players. He lacks tactical thinking to develop a winning formula.
Biased Selector: K Srikkanth has exploited his position to fill the team spots with players from South after Dhoni selects his playing 11. This gives no bench strength and these 'dud' tourist do nothing more than warm the benches.
Srinivasan: The incestuous relationship between Tamilnadu, Chennai SK, and Indian team is brokered by this behind the scene manipulator. Who is he accountable to?
Clueless Skipper: Dhoni looks out of touch and clueless on the field. His own performance as Wicketkeeper/batsman is below par. He clearly has no interest in playing test Cricket and needs to spend more time with his lovely wife and advertisers.
Fire Fletcher, Srikkanth, Srinivasan, and Dhoni - NOW!!!

u can ask MM singh to play.. or u need bhaji who is dance master..i dont agree .there is only one player from chennai..u biased singh get lost..
Kohli scored in just 2 innings outside India. Even in this series his average is 30 plus only. The Indian fans are going gaga over him. Kohli is just one 'out of form stint' before before fading away in tests. However, given his batting style that is plonk your left leg and play to mid wicket, he may still do well in ODIs and T20, that too only in India. The batsmen for tests should be Pujara, Badrinath and possibly Rohit Sharma.
