Sewag is right
by Narayanan Sangameswaran on Jan 31, 2012 02:17 AM

It has happened to other teams. But what followed such sham performance to those teams should also happen to this Indian team. Remember the Pak WC team of 2003? Now, can Sewag volunteer to give way to someone else?

Just face one over in internation pitch and you will know what to speak. I am also disheartend by the team, but still I support team and I am with Sehwag, every one goes through bad patch, Australia also lost badly in recent past, and any team that comes to India let it be australia they also dance like morons

Illogical reasoning about facing one over. Ask the Indian team to write one line of software code and let's see if anyone can do it b

The point is.....
by Manu Zach on Jan 30, 2012 12:10 AM  | Hide replies

The Indian team's record at home is excellent even against Australia. But the manner in which the Aussies lost in their last visit to India is being easily forgotten. Never ever have an Australian test team surrendered without putting up a fierce fight even with their depleted resources and in conditions heavily stalked against them. They have never let India win even a single session no matter a test match with the ease with which the the Indians have let the Aussies win sessions and tests in this series.
Sehwag and the other Indian superstars should either accept the fact that they are not good enough to win away from home or they should just shut the f.#.@.K up. Its just as simple as that.

what is worse defeat is a matter of argument. Ausies have also been diappointing in recent past. It happens, and for any team playing outside its own ground is always tough. Even ausies have lot of chances of loosing to Bangladesh if they play in there ground, its recorded in past

It happens with Bangladesh and Zimbabwe
by NIRJHAR MAJUMDAR on Jan 29, 2012 11:14 PM  | Hide replies

8 consecutive overseas defeats have not happened to quality teams like England,South Africa,Australia,Pakistan and New Zealand.Don't mention West Indies. They don't like cricket these days.
India is more like Bangladesh now.We Indians will jump with joy the moment we manage to win one ODI in Australia.
Ours is not really a sports loving country. That is why we are mad about a sport which is played seriously by 6 or 7 countries.

Sehwag - Lets move on
by vavialala suri on Jan 29, 2012 11:07 PM

It is natural for people to react when it happens for two successive overseas defeats in a row. This should be taken in stride and need to move on. Need not react or need not read too much . Just play good cricket and see solid bowling & batting partnerships take place . All this talk will die down.
All the Best ... Move on

Pending Decisions
by indian first on Jan 29, 2012 08:48 PM  | Hide replies

Hes should be dropped immediately. Here is what the selectors should do after everything is settled down and time to take some harsh decisions. Bring them all in one room...
1.) Dravid/Lakshman/Zaheer - You have been great servants to Indian cricket, please retire now and pass the batton to others
2.) Tendulkar - One more chance and or will be dropped, better make your own decision so it's easy on everybody
3.) Sehwag/Ishant/Vinay K - No more chance, you are being dropped based on your performance and athelitic level.
4.) Ashwin - You need to hit the gym and improve your athelitic abilities, you run like pregnant women (no fun intended). Otherwise you will be dropped.
4.) Dhoni - You are still our captain but only on series to series basis. We know we don't have quality bowlers to allow you to be aggressive but need to take input and being somewhat more pre-active.
