BCCI

ok , if selectors are responsible then sack them/ selectors have been chosen by BCCI only.

another option - if BCCI does not have the guts to fire the old trinity , then organise a grand function at LOrds , invite all the cricket playing nations , beam the telecast all acrosss & call these three greats , praise them to skies , give them a huge purse of millions of dollors & tell them to announce their retirement there & then.

if this is the corrective measure after the england tour...then for sure all will play the next series too ... unless bcci gives across a strong measage nothing will happen... the problem is everything is connected to advertising ---sachin,dravid,dhoni,shewag are bigger draws there --indirectly bcci gets more money there. it has nothing to do with form it is buisness till the golden goose gives eggs.

Win & Loss

Com'on yaar! England were No-1 and Pakies were no 5 or may lower than that and they are 2-0 against the world no-1 team! We did beat Aussies 2-0 in home soils, 5-0 England, yaar every team does well in their backyards! Ok, hard decisions need to be taken but we should still support our team. Talk about axing seniors, then can anybody tell me who were the keys in Aussies win? Punter & Hussey (who were about to be axed before the first test), Clark, another senior batsman! Apart from Warner’s 180 there was not a significant contribution from young blood there as well. Shit happens and that was the case with our senior batsmen. Though, I ‘d say they should have played Rohit ahead of Laxman in the last test. We had lost the series and one damn talented batsman was warming the bench..that is where our think tank failed!..that’s it!
But, that’s not the end of life mates..if you love the sports, then win and lose is the part of it too!
Accept it with grace!

after losing to NZ from a winning position, the Aussie team was waiting to get walloped - the Indian team of 2007-8 might have done it - instead it allowed ponting, hussey, and clarke to come to form. the turning point (or two):
dismissal of sachin in melbourned near close of play on day 2

and dravid dropping hussey in the 2nd innings at 160-odd for seven

...sehwag looks more like a milkman drinking more of his merchandize than selling - with lots of curves on his chest, waist, and backside - the comical dismissal at adelaide was the ulitmate shame of a cricketer losing his commitment to the team

forgot to add one thing - best form of protest will be to avoid watching IPL on TV. TV ratings for IPL is the only way BCCI will take note. Nothing else.

"the problem is that everybody forgets about the series we win and remember the series we lose."
instead reverse happens. every1 forgets the earlier loss once v beat a bangla or 10th ranked wi team.

Dont Blame Players
by jose andrade on Jan 28, 2012 11:07 PM  | Hide replies

Blame the BCCI for not making fast pitches.
Whey they go abroad they cannot measure the speed of the ball.
My advise to them is bend a little bit more so that you can see the ball better and even the throat ball you can hit any where you want. Like Gilchrist bends. Convey this to Sachin and rest of the Indian Team. Listen what the Austrian Players said.. India is a country of 2 billion people and yet can find a terror fast baller. Because we select only educated lot who knows to speak english. We not not develop tall well built men like we take in our millitary. Shame on Selectors.. Look at Imran Nasser once He told Ravi Shastri "" HIndi Mein Baat Koro "

5yrs later or 10 ten years later, if sachin continues to play for india, he will still be hunting for his 100th 100 - that seems to be the most important concern of the indian team right now - winning or losing is the least of the priorities

Why Blame The Team
by jose andrade on Jan 28, 2012 10:58 PM

Blame the Slow Pitches in India . When Our Batsmen goes they eye cannot counter or measure the speed on fast pitches. India should develop fast pitches and they should not only train learned cricketers but uneducated also . What Australian players said is hurting.. India is 2 billion people country cannot find tall though fast ballers? Not even one?... Secondly they know the weakness of Indian batsmen against fast bowling and throat ball. In order to play fast bowling and throat ball one has to bend like Gilchrist so that you can see the ball clearly and hit anywhere you want. Bend a little bit more my advice to Tendulkar.. Please convey this to him any how.
