Shameless..

The reason they are not retiring is because if they retire the IPL price get lowered , if you are a contracted player your price is higher, nothing else.

Then why on earth did u allow Kapil Dev & Srinath to retire? Even today, they are far better than dumbos like Ishant Sharma.

Hey a good proposal for BCCI : Organize overseas tours to minnows like bangladesh, kenya and zimbawe to halt the team dismal performance abroad and to complete the senior players "individual records" for their early retirement in the intrest of Indian cricket. Ram

Don't blame - Senior Player
by Kannan S on Jan 28, 2012 10:39 AM  | Hide replies

If you consider as series, we haven't done properly in none of the areas. In first test, Yes we have done good show on bowl but our youngest batting players Mr. Kohli & Dhoni what they have done ? if both might have made atleast 30 runs each we might won the test match. Don't blame individuals .... u can blame entire team as such

Dude, our batting average overseas is 250 ~ 350. It is the bowling unit which has to take 20 opposition wickets to win. They used to take it sometimes in the earlier series. But this time, batting has failed 50~60%. Bowling has failed 70~80%.

They want a home series to prove themselves.
by ahamed sharif on Jan 28, 2012 10:39 AM  | Hide replies

The senior team members will prove themselves by hitting double and triple centuries on our home pitches. So we should pay them 1/3rd the contract amount.

Better idea is not to involve seniors in any home series.

Sachin has 14 more years of cricket left.....
by Indian on Jan 28, 2012 10:33 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin will retire, but he has to break a record which requires him to be in the side for 14 years...

He is aiming for the record of the oldest player to have played this game.
currently I guess it is held by wilfred rhodes at 52 years.
so sachin is just 39 yrs. give him atleast 14 more years.

he will play against every team for the next 14 years...

Even if he gets out on zero for the next 20 innings still he will play.
