Before start of every matches even the coach, capt dhoni, why even BCCI Srinivas himself repeated same worthless statements without action. It is time for a quick tour to kenya, bangladesh or zimbabwe to get back the lost form in australia. Then only sachin tendulkar so called master batsmen can score his ton to increase his tally in number of centuries. BCCI should think about this seriously and do something for the benefit of this cricket.
Mr Aswhin. Our indian team is good for ODI only. Who cares ODI. The real testimony of performance is winning test matches abroad. Having cricketers with such pathetic thinking is the cause of the present state of Indian Test cricket abroad
If only The giants, The idols, The masters and LITTLE masters, The Gods have fallen to some lethal pace bowling, it can be digested. Falling to Lyons that too not due to any demons in the pitch or some great spin bowling; but, due to lack of application and reckless, irresponsible, gully cricketer like technique is inexplicable. As one commentator has put it, Lyon bowls with the back up of 500, 600 runs in the kitty and poor Ashwin doesn't have that luxury and that's the difference between their bowling. This is the worst ever series in recent memory team India has ever played. We all cricket fans only expect the board and the selectors have the guts to revamp the team completely and let better cricketing sense prevail and not regional / religion based quotas. Naming three separate teams for Tests, ODIs and T20s will give well deserved chance for players who have been frustratingly waiting in the bench for quite long. Let selection not be based on investments made on a player by the industry and be purely on merit. The collective failure is a blessing in disguise and the interest of the team should come first than any loyalty towards heftily paid cricketers (Afterall, they haven't done any honorary service to the nation) who on their part should accept the blame and retire gracefully rather than wanting to prove in a domestic series. And for heaven's sake, dump Ishant please. If he can not bowl in Australia, he can not bowl anywhere else as well.

Only changes in the team can bring India back on track. How about this????
Men to go : Sehwag, Gambhir, Dravid, Sachin, Laxman, Dhoni, Ishant....
Suitable replacements from : Rahane, Mukund, Rohit, Pujara, Bist, Badri, Saha (Dinesh Karthik to back up), Ashok Dinda (Ritu Raj too early to be expose and needs to be nurtured)
Its only after Dhoni's sacking i got to know about SAHA.Never heard before.God bless this young man with a solid deffence.BCCI why are you hiding talents.Wasim Jaffer is performing.Rohit Sharma also.If obama got a chance then why not the Indian talents.
Well if we dint get good itches in India this is bound to happen. Well age also slows reflexes and money. 1)Sehwag is useless Plays once in 10 matches and is not bothered. 2) Laxman and Dravid are trying but I think age is chatching with them 3)Sachin well he ahs to decide himself 4)Dhoni nit good for test

I agree with you. Sachine shluld take retirement & give chance to Rahane who played very well in England tour.
What a sudden change in fate just in a span of one month. Just 32 days ago, before the first ball was bowled on the boxing day test match, the aussie media was baying for Punter's blood.. But Ponting, the willy fox he really is knew that the table would turn soon as he's licking his limbs and waiting for the Indian bowlers.. Ponting's come-back-from-dead performances only suggest one thing.. Indian bowlers are fully capable of giving a second-life to any struggling batsmen in the cricket world. Dravid must be wondering how it all went wrong so suddenly and the sky started falling down on him.. The great Tendulkar is after all human, a mere mortal. He may not admit but its quite certain that the 100th ton is playing in his mind and he’s thinking abt it all the time. This is by all means, the end of the road for VVS Laxman.. probably in IPL as well. He should team up with his city pal Azhar and start a cricket academy. Who knows, we might get some good wristy players like them in future. It’s interesting to note that the decline of India’s awesome 3-some is coincided with Ponting’s return to form.. and how did he make a comeback?? By hitting a double hundred, a hundred and 3 well-timed 50’s. It’s the ricky ponting of the old.. How is it possible ?? Well, my best guess is Ponting would have done some aborigine Voodoo magic on Dravid/SRT/VVS and traded/swapped his luck with theirs.. !! :-D.

Very True!India have the habit of allowing out of form players to regain their touch. Many players have recorded their highest scores against the Indian attack. The Indian bowlers have always failed to clean up the tail after having dismissed the main batsman quickly. That is the reason India is losing so many matches overseas.
in this politics of selection Kohli, gambhir, Ahswin and oldies sSuck out most practice at expense of YOUNGSTERS and bring back insulting failure in most of the test. with all this practice, most of the oldies will not play one dayers. So players like rohit/raina/etc will be shoved in without practice into 1 dayer while the selected politicians would have had practice.
kohli, dhoni, gambhir etc from cartel have an advantage.
even for last test with pitch conditions close to india to allow ozzie some practice of indian bowling and batting in Asian alike pitch, these crooks did not give up politics to allow youngsters.
yesterday people said pace and swing was an issue for indian nerves. now lyon with spin takes most wickets over and above the pace.
they cannot even play spin?? the indian bread and butter.
