======
For all people who comment on REFLEXES
HOW COME INDIAN BOWLERS all YOUNGER still gave away so many Runs at SCG ,WACA and ADELAIDE (AUST IST INNINGS)

are INDIAN BOWLERS NOT YOUNGER ? IF THE ARGUMENT YOUNGER HAS BETTER REFLEXES THEN WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE REFLEXES OF INDIAN BOWLERS ? THEN

Srikanth regional feelings killed the whole team and Dhoni
by kumar on Jan 27, 2012 04:06 AM  | Hide replies

Srikanth regional feelings killed the spirit of whole team. Instead of taking blame, he is shifting the blame on Dhoni. He selected following players in last 4 years.

Vijay Murali - Average is 30 in tests and 15 in ODIs
Abhinav Mukund - Average is 20
Badri - Average is 20 in tests and 15 in ODIs
Dinesh Karthik - Played 23 tests and 52 ODIS. Average is 25 only. Scored only one century

Ashwin - Took only 4 wickets in 2 test matches against Australia eventhough Australians are vulnerable to Spin
Balaji - Forget about him. played 30 ODIs and 10 test matches

Nearly half the tamil nadu team. if one fails, he gave chance to other tamil.

He killed the spirit of whole team with his idiotic approach and non sense reasons. He needs to take the responsibility and need to step down. If Ashwin fails, Srikanth is planning to give opportunity to his Son Anirudh in the name of all rounder

If you hate somebody, you are ruining your life by your hatred. It’s not only charity that begins at home. Even hatred begins at home. The people who hate others will be filled with hatred themselves. If you are angry with another person/community, before your anger affects that person/community, it will have affected you. - Bernardshaw

I can understand that you hate Srikanth but what you are mentioning is meaning less. He didnt give change to six players at the same time. One at a time, what happend to the other 10 players, sleeping??. Why the heck they are not performing. It is all about utilization of the players, why the captain didnt go with Ohja and Rohit. Why Ishant, he is so pathetic.

how can u have someone like ishant, dhoni, dravid in the test team despite a string of failures?????
Though Dravid was a gr8 player, of late he has slowed down considerably in his reflexes which is getting reflected in the way he is getting out these days....
Regarding ishant and dhoni the less said the better..

My Future indian team
by kumar on Jan 27, 2012 12:13 AM  | Hide replies

I believe it is better to change selection committee first so that new selection committee can come with fresh ideas. My future indian team is

1) Rahane
2) M pandey
3) Dravid
4) Tendulkar
5) Kohli
6) Rohit Sharma
7) Dhoni (Captain)
8) Ohja
9) Z Khan
10) Ishant Sharma
11) U Yadav

Bench:
12) Saha
13) Harbhajan Singh
14) A Rayudu or Abhishek Nair
15) Harbhajan singh
16) Aaron

I believe it is better to continue with Dhoni as captain. No need to blame Dhoni for the mistakes of Srikanth. Srikanth ended up giving chances only to Tamil Nadu players instead of developing good backup players

Dont blame selection committee, Ohja & Rohit are in bench now why didnt Dhoni or Sehwag use them. How come you are recommending Ishant, he is not taking wickets, instead he is giving runs. Ohja should have replaced Ishant.

Happyindian - I am trying to remove religion feelings here. But unfortunately it is Srikanth who started this. He selected following players in last 4 years.
Vijay Murali
Abhinav Mukund
Badri
Dinesh Karthik
Ashwin
Balaji

Nearly half the tamil nadu team. if one fails, he gave chance to other tamil. What do you call this?

The only tamil nadu player in the team is Ashwin, dont blame Srikanth. Dhoni had the option to go with Ohja, but he didnt choose him....

Youngsters in Indian Team
by Surojit Dutta on Jan 26, 2012 11:00 PM

May be in the next home test series these seniors will come good. But it is obvious from Engalnd and Australia outings that their carrier in overseas Test series is finished. If some new or young player has to be tested overseas it is better to put him through the grind of a home series first. For that Dravid and Laxman should be asked to retire or they should hang up their boots immediately as they are already non-existent in One dayers. Having said this it is true that so far only a few Indian players have followed Gavaskar's policy of retirement.

It is also surprising to see that the whole country understands the need to replace the seniors except the Selectors. They seem to be so considerate about these three seniors. The same was not the case with Sourav Ganguly who before the rise of any countrywide demand for his expulsion from the team was pressurised by the Selectors so much so that he decided to retire himself even when he felt he had cricket years left in him.

once again proved that oldies need to b retired.

once again proved that oldies need to b retired. sachin dravid n laxman need to go at once.

everytime its saidthat who r the replacement. but today kohli proved that given the chance one can succeed at intnl level. but u hv to persist with youngsters.
even dravid was a total flop during initial odis but persistence with him proved his worth in his very first test.

sachin is also having record of having so many tests without his maiden test century, still persistence with him made his talent out.

similar is the case now with kohli, pujara, manoj tiwari, manish pandey. u give them chance n persist with them. n then see the result.
n for that 3 oldies hv to retire.
