Putting forth solid statistics to show that Sachin scores well in all league matches but always fails in knockout encounters. By Knockout encounter, If you lose, you are out of the World cup.
2011 vs Srilanka Final - 18
2007 vs Srilanka Knockout match - duck
2003 vs Australia Final - 4
1999 vs Australia Super Sixes Round - 0
1996 vs Srilanka Semi Final - 65 runs India lost - was not able to see through India Win
1992 vs South Africa Knockout match - 14 runs
Now tell me Sachin fanatics, is he a knockout match winner or not ? No doubt he is a great batsmen but not a crucial match rescuer.

every team aim is to go out to win the World cup, not for just reaching the semi finals or finals and failing there miserably.

Remember Steve Waugh 120 knock against South Africa in the 1999 knockout of the super sixes to see Australia through. Remember Inzamam Ul Hag knock against New zealand in 1992 semi final..Those type of innings are Knockout match winners.. YOu still dont understand my friend

Hi AP, you dont have any sense. I meant a knockout match where if you lose you are out of the world cup. Steve Waugh and Inzamam's knocks were in the semi finals which were knockouts

So how did we reach till the finals in 2003 and 2011, its like asking KBC host to directly ask 15th Question for 5 crore without bothering to go through process of first 14 questions

Ok, then if we had Sachin play only in the finals or sem-finals, could he have won the cup for India ? Your justifications are moronic.

So, how did india reach the final? As a sachin basher you should have a explanation for that too.. I am sure you will say you can't remember it as you would not like to mention his contributions. Be a sport. Agreed he has not had a good series (last 3 series are not good), but dont belittle the man. Its like your boss runs you down in appraisal for two mistakes even though you have done excellent work and top-of the rank contributor for your team all year.

a job well done by india. dont get surprise friends.match is going upto 4th day. pls be happy.Indians did not surrender inside 3 days. good achievement due to punishment given to dhoni and lucky chance well grabbed by saha.If not india would have closed by now.hope there wil b 5th day for this test match.

@ Cricket Australia is making losses as 5 day matches are getting over in 3 days. Hence the 'strategy' by Australia not to enforce follow-on... :-)
Tendulkar completed his Mahashatak today and gave his country perfect gift ,oh wait,Hang on ,just reading the Scorecard,Sorry guys its Virat Kohli..Tendu has failed again..

solid singh - u look paid servant of politicain dhoti. thatswhy u are interested only in politics & regionalism. You don't have any interest in cricket or any logic thing
His 100 is proof enough that a youngster who's ability to negotiate short pitched stuff was questioned , worked at it & got going. Whereas Lachhu & Sacchu -the great have taken their places for granted. Another youngster with immense talent - Rohit Sharma is warming the bench beacuse of their refusal to acknowledge that they are no longer fit to rep Indian cricket. Wall , though has failed here , but his recent record against England in England is face saving. He has retired from one dayers anyway. But lacchu sachhu - shameless.

It is not that they have taken for granted. It is just that their reflexes are getting old now. It is time for them to move on to other roles outside the field of play.
Re: kohli
by ASHISH KUMAR on Jan 26, 2012 03:50 PM
why u are silent on dhoti ability to bat overseas. If captain himself is most useless & fattu batsman- how team can perform
is a greedy selfish DoooG....he is too focused on his 100 then giving the team a good score and that is how he gets out. His knocks all for personal glory .......
Re: 10dulkar
by LAKSHMINARAYANAN narayanan on Jan 26, 2012 03:07 PM
He is loosing his relexes due to age, it is not that he is selfish, if he is selfish he would have scored more runs if not centuries, Suppose for your aurguement if he scores century will it not lead to India Total?. Not only Tendulkar , whole team has lost confidence . The other two stars also failed Dravid and Laxman, that means all are selfish dogs.

The decision by Simon Tauffel who won the ICC award for best umpire for the third consecutive time, that year. Video -watch from 03:25 minutes

And the boastful explanation after the match was, "I knew he was not out. But i don’t have a habit of changing my decisions". Ex cricketers like Nassir Hussain had criticized this. Video -watch from 01:57 minutes
32. India vs Aus Third test he was dismissed by umpire at 71. He scored centuries in the second and fourth tests. Watch the video clippings - Lee delivers to Tendulkar; the ball hits on top of the pad; at the time of contact, Tendulkar is seen jumping in the air.
