either way india have won
by veerapuram dharan on Jan 26, 2012 03:47 PM  | Hide replies

if aus celebrate that they have got into form against us, it means they indirectly admit that they played against a top team, which itself is a moral win for us..

if they tell that they defeated an ageing and depleted side, then also we have won morally because there is nothing to boast by defeating an ageing side..

so, its india which has won all the four matches morally..

Match fixing by Aussie team...
by jaguar on Jan 26, 2012 03:45 PM  | Hide replies

Indian all out in 272 and still a million runs behind.. But Aussie didn't give the follow on.. There could be only 2 reasons..
1. Clarke loves Indian curry and so doesn't wanna give another innings defeat to the Indian team (3 times in 4 matches)..
2. Big bet by the Oz team. Everyone expected the match to be over in 3.5 days. But, Aussie team want to take the match to the 5th day for no apparent reasons.
Had they asked India to bat again, Indian team would have bundled out in 175-200 runs.

We should thank Clark to save us from another inning defeat humiliation.

Not match fixing. Their TV ratings are as hopeless as Dhoni's batting overseas. Thats why Aus want to try to extend till Day-5 so that ticket sales & TV ratings surge.....

if he had enforced follow , we could have had the pleasure of seeing another capitulation by our batsman by tom afternoon and the series done 4-0 , now we will have to wait till end of the day.. bad bad clarke. he does not want sehwag and others to have another day to buy that extra i-pad from duty free

Finally after the series of over. Total score of Clarke Ponting will exceed the total score of all Indian Innings put together.

It needs lot of courage and guts to come up with splendid and glittering performance.

Bravo India.
Chak de, ho chak de india.

saha better than dhoti
by ASHISH KUMAR on Jan 26, 2012 03:43 PM  | Hide replies

Saha also looked better batsman & wicketkeeper than politician dhobiji.
Even kartik & patel much better than dhongi.
Dhiti has average of less than 20 outside subcontinent even after playing 7 overseas series.
Also washerman has overall avg of less than 25 in test for last 2 yrs (no match winning inning in test or saving innin in entire carrer) but still continuing in test. why?
Its add agency pressure on BCCI.

washerman rose to the top by playing most matches in our own backyard..even sachin and sehwags double in ODIs is hyped..to me saeed anwars 194 is still the best with in india, as only 6 runs separated his score from a double..and that too, in those days, hitting 194 is not that easy..

In this entire series only one player has played consistently well for India in all innings. There was not team work. And that Player of Series for India is SHAUN MARSH

Don't lie Mr sidarth. Here are the facts
Dhoni test average outside
In WI 2006, 24
In SA 2006, 26
In AUS 2007, 17.62
In SLK 2009 17.5
In SA 2011, 35.8
In WI 2011- 19.5
( score of 0,16,2, 5 & 74(only one good inning when WI was operating with bowlers like bishoo/chandrapaul & front line bowler rampaul/shammi etc was resting due to injury).
In Eng 2011- 28.5 (last series)
In present Aus series- 23.0
Also dhoni after playing 27 T-20 intl has not scored a single fifty, no match winning inning, no MOM & pathetic strike rate of 105 (one of the lowest for any batsman in T-20 at his batting position)
In ODI overseas also he is a big failure as batsman who never perform when require due to limited batting ability & has hardly won any important ODI outside india with his batting.
He is a flop wicketkeeper also in last 3 series where dropped many catches.
He has no overseas century outside subcontinent in any format of game after playing 7 yrs of cricket while even batsman like kumble/agarkar has overseas century batting at no.9.
He is the biggest liability as a batsman in Indian team for lat 7 yrs.
Dhoni Overseas test captaincy record- Win-5, Loss- 10, Draw-06
Win includes Bng, WI, NZL, Slk

Dhoni is best
That’s why doing rest.

Sachin -
by Rohit Maroli on Jan 26, 2012 03:01 PM  | Hide replies

Since the start of the series commentators have been using this dialogie frequently " Only Sachin looked the best and most comfortable and fluent " I point it as utter rubbish. End of the series its the no of runs you score and the position you get your team into. This man has failed miserably in 7 innings consecutively and India have been loosing badly in 3 days time and yet these commentators are singing praises ? At the end of the day its the no of runs a batsman scores and Sehwag Sachin Dravid and Laxman the core of the batting have been disastorous. This aussie attack has been over rated and made to look lethal by the disastrous form of our batsmen. Add to that our bowlers who bowl at an average speed of 130 kmph ...if you look at the entire day compared to aussies who bowl above 140 kmph all day. It's really shameful. Dravid and Laxman should be made to retire and Sachin , Sehwag , Gambhir and Dhoni should be dropped purely on form and players in our domestic format who are in form should take their place. As far as Ishant Sharma is concerned he should be given VRS...as he is another ajit agarkar in the making....Zaheer Khan should quit cricket.. marry Isha Shravani and live happily ever after...Its time indian selctors pick raw talent from the streets...speedsters...and genuinely talented young agile bastmen who can field brilliantly...

Broadcasters wanted a 5 day test match for advertising gains?

There was a news article that said Broadcasters are losing money because of test matches finishing in 3 days. Perhaps Australian board adviced Michael clarke to play out half day so that the match can last till mid day 5 th day.. what do u say?

Virat Kohli donates his century to Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin was overjoyed on hearing this. He now completes his 100th century. However he says he still has no plans for retirement and has lot of cricket left over in him.
