Solutions : 2 IPL events in a year..
by jaguar on Jan 24, 2012 03:01 PM

BCCI should arrange 2 IPLs in a year spanning across 4 months, so that India will play less International Test matches.. Less test matches, lesser humiliation.. more money to BCCI, more money to players.

to prevent 100% white wash , lets pray that it rains & the test is washed off , then our heros can say that they lost only 3 out of 4 tests.

This is the Most Humiliating Phase for Indian Cricket
by rajashi ghosh on Jan 24, 2012 02:41 PM  | Hide replies

The so-called powerhouse of world cricket has been obliterated once again. After their disastrous tour to England, one had hoped that the India team would make ammends. But their tour to Australia has been a debacle in ever manner possible. What is shocking is the margin of defeats.

I think seniors like Tendulkar, Dravid and Laxman should retire after the series because their presence could not save India from this unforgettable embarrasment.

Powerhouse of Cricket??? Who is that... lets forget about us being world champions. World Champions are teams made of players who win consistently and if they loose at least loose with respect. This is not a cricket..just a different version of politicians who waste India's resources and do nothing but help Indians loose respect.

Player's pride comes first than India's pride in India
by lee on Jan 24, 2012 02:11 PM  | Hide replies

I fee India is the only country where people, selectors give priority to player's pride more than the country's pride. Perfect example is the 4th test where Rohit, is still resting and Laxman is in. Dravid is playing and others like Rahane, Pujara rested. Ojha still rested.
With this team, even Ganguly told earlier that this team cannot win overseas match at all.
Neighter bowling nor batting and old age fielding of Lax has really taken the interest to watch India series. Would love to watch a competitive serires between Pak and Eng rather.

Srikanth and selection panel must be sacked after this test match so that India can build up to get some pride, or else just keep on loosing and loosing. Pathetic Indian team, shame to my country's cricket selectors.
Same thing happens in politics and now in Cricket too, oldies simply do not go out until unless they are kicked out. Shame to Laxman, Dravid for continuing to play.

krish never had good record. so if you have mediocre people at the helm of decision making the net result is for all to see.sack krish and the team. allow the corporates to select the team for india

I think now that Indian Cricket is dead for a long time especially overseas Test cricket series. The interest factor is simply gone even before the match starts. Just looking at the players with low confidence, the match seems to be lost before it starts.
Now at home, these players will start winning, but who cares those results, the team has lost its pride and their fan's confidence. And simply I do not understand why no actions are taken against Srikanth fur such horrible playing 11 selection. I am sure within the team, the youngsters would not like to see Lax, Dravid or even Tendulkar continue playing tests. However, they do not have the guts to protest against Dhoni and team management or else they will be sacked later.
They, say now it is time to press the panic button. Funny, panic button had been automatically pressed from England and now the sound of panic is getting common for our players. one positive thing about this match -
this match will not end in 2.5 days as Aussies will bat atleast for 2 days and India might get bowled out in 1.5 days. So total is 3.5 days. Good India.
