In one way, Clarke is right...

Clarke is of Indian mindset in the sense old age people should be respected. India is a team of old aged players in pension stage you know..they cant even move their feet as Akram said

Dressing before killing the chicken
by powerful Goldstar on Jan 23, 2012 02:55 PM  | Hide replies

Clarke is just dressing the chicken and keeping the table ready for feast starting tomorrow. Only question remaining is - will it be 3 days or 4 days at Adelaide. Will Indian team get 1 day off or 2 day off.

u guys r very short sighted, it can be over in 2 days after all Sehwag is captain and we all know he doesn't like to prolong the inevitable.

True, but sehwag alone can't do it. He has to be supported by dravid, sachin and co!

Heard a rumor that India is going to finish this test in 2 days cos there is some sort of go karting championship being held on 3rd day. On 4th day, middle finger showing competition is also there for which Kohli and Ishant are flag bearers. so there is plenty to look forward for except cricket.

By using the term "Vetrans" clarke means they are over the hill. Which ofcourse is a fact.

I dont think Rahul or VVS would have the support that dada enjoyed. Even dada had to retire under pressure but atleast on his own terms. Time ir correct for these folks before they are thrown out. Only Sachin will have more fans than dada and he will go only when he wants. Never a player for the team, so don't expect much from him.

no doubt, these veterans have time and again came to India's rescue and saved India in difficulties...they have served the country well..but now as natural their reflections have become slow..even the Wall was bowled not once but four times..they time to say goodbye to seniors...we will always remember you..
