Stop watching cricket, only then the BCCI, players will be tamed. Else, this will be same story again and again. In India, we play only one sport properly (which is cricket), and we are not number one in that.

he has NEVER rescuded us.. Its always been Dravid, lax in tests, Yuvaraj in one-days..SRT is sort of player u expect to score when the score is 100 or 150/2 ..not when team is 25/3 or 30/4

Sehwag will lead India to victory in Adelaide
by Kumar Gourkar on Jan 24, 2012 12:00 PM  | Hide replies

Look at Sehwag performance against West Indies when they toured India. He is the best bestman against fast bowling. Due to some illluck he was not able to score in previous matches in Aus. He will smash Aussies to bits this time in Adelaide. Sehwag is the best batsman in the Indian Team. Make Sehwag the permanent captain of India. Drop Sachin, Dhoni and Dravid

Auz would want to play on pitch made to behave like india pitch to certain extent. this is done so they can get used to what indian bowling have to offer when they go down to india. And how will indian batting react to Auz bowling in those conditions.
they can try this because they won series 3-0

India's batting failures should not be forgotton
by t xz on Jan 24, 2012 03:49 AM

Even if Indian batsmen score some runs in Adelaide and perhaps draw the test, it should not be forgotten that the Indian batting has failed in last 17 innings abroad (except for 1 or 2 innings here and there). The current batsmen are aging and has lost their sharpness to play top quality pace bowling on helpful wickets consistently. The young batsmen (except for an innings here and there) do not have proper technique to play on such wickets. So there is fundamentally something wrong with the Indian cricket and BCCI will not do anything to change that. BCCI is more worried about how to make IPL even bigger and make more money instead of having a long term plan to produce cricketers who can perform well abroad in test cricket. In another 5 years test cricket in India will become a distant 3rd choice (after IPL and ODI) of aspiring cricketers. So India test cricket future is bleak, unless some immediate action is taken by BCCI including bringing some accountability to administrators in BCCI and selectors.
