India should be ranked 7th on current form
by t xz on Jan 24, 2012 04:07 AM

On current form and recent performances abroad, Indian cricket team should be ranked 7th, just above WI. Despite being dubbed as 7th ranked team, WI did not loose 2 back to back series abroad 4-0 in recent times, they draw at least 1 test. Even when WI came to India recently, they lost 1st test narrowly and almost won the 3rd test, they scored 400 plus runs twice. Even if the current Indian team visits Zimbabwe now and play 3 tests, they will not win more than 1 test.

r u Paki? Because no Indians want this team to win. If you are praying for India's Victory you must be Paki, no worthwhile creatures expect a victory from this team

BCCI is arranging a 5 test series against Bangla Desh in India. We will show Australia and England that we are also able to do WHITE WASH like them.

Just to add, "Only should be batting and never should Australia bat", only then there could be a draw.

Key Problems of Indian Cricket - Media, Public, BCCI and solution
by powerful Goldstar on Jan 23, 2012 06:47 PM  | Hide replies

By we - I point to the public, Media and BCCI in India. Firstly, We always give importance to idols not for performance. There are several budding players in domestic cricket championships in India. But the ugly BCCI and Cricket Selection board never give chances to them and play their regional cards. Secondly, there should be a massive program to revamp all pitches in India - make half of them fast swing bowling assisted and bouncy which will help Indian batsment to quickly adapt to pace and swing and develop techniques over a period of time. These techniques cant be developed overnight when you suddenly go on a tour to Aus or SA. Another point is identify promising young fast bowlers and keep experimenting them in International matches. Be ready to accept defeats if needed by doing so. Implement a system where irrespective of being Seniors or record holders, players are immediately rested based on performance. Recruit athletic, strong stamina persons for playing cricket. If you compare the fitness or body strength levels of Indian players against Aus or SA Players currently, Indian players look like lambs against lions. If we follow all of these and implement them, no doubt we can be 2015 champions.

Regarding Mr. Panner comments
by powerful Goldstar on Jan 23, 2012 06:29 PM

I think Mr. Panner Ilango just want India to keep losing again and again so that Pakistan gets better than India in terms of Rankings. We majority of the forum who will criticize BCCI and Indian cricket for its dismal performance will not allow that.
