India lamost lost test when NZL toured india to them and they were no. 1 or 2 then. aussies record prior to this series was good. they beat sl in sl and drawn series in sa. against nzl also it was 1-1. if indian team would have done it we would have call it excellent record in last three series.
Auz would want to play on pitch made to behave like india pitch to certain extent. this is done so they can get used to what indian bowling have to offer when they go down to india. And how will indian batting react to Auz bowling in those conditions. they can try this because they won series 3-0
It's the time to start giving opportunities to youngsters. I believe selectors should start looking at developing a good backup. There are very good players and this is the good time to start giving opportunities. The following players deserve the opportunities
start planning for the 2015 world cup. Throw out sachin, sehwag, dravid, laxman and zaheer. Make gambhir or kohli captian. Dhoni can field and saha can keep. Bowlers or tail enders must be able to bat and batsman must bowl a few overs. More training, focus on fitness, strategies, watching videos, of opposition, strengths and weaknesses and attack accordingly. Stop making excuses about indian bowlers making batsman look good and etc. If you look at some of the run outs of 2003 world cup by aussies against sri lanka, you fools in india will stop watching indian cricket. Look at the big picture plan long term. Otherwise the world cup which is in Australia will be a joke and people will waste time posting comments and criticize which our indians are # 1 at. Look at the mirror and improve. If the new young players lose, its ok improve and learn and try to be better. The idea is not to be #1 but being better and improving and giving 100%. Even if you are down 100 runs with 1 wicket fight it out. Be confident. Throw the seniors out please. NOWWWW. And BAN IPL.
