Vur captaincy

Viru do one thing. Just frustrate Australian batsman by bowling a lot of made-in overs.
This is the only way you can take 20 wickets. Also you field either in Mid-on or Mid-off and give your judgement about bowlers line and length. This would give enough boost for the bowlers to perform well and much needed win in Australian Soil.

hahahaha....you are still as unreasonable as you always were, vaidya....we are not even going to talk about dhoni's batting or keeping...you know as well as me(though you wont admit for reasons only you know) that dhoni is totally waste as a player....and you cannot have someone on the team only for captaincy....and as a captain, dhoni has been ultra defensive (remember west indies where any other captain would have gone for the kill )and his fielding placements and bowling changes have been FOOLISH, RIDICULUOUS and INSANE...infact his record of 7 straight loss would be difficult for any other captain to match including bangladesh...DHONI is actually very STOOOOpEEED...and he has proved it with his decisions recently...so you need to look beyond the hype of dhoni's captaincy...ALSO MERELY QUOTING STATISTICS OF PAST MATCHES WHERE INDIA WON (MOSTLY BECAUSE OF OTHERS PERFORMANCE) WONT HELP YOUR CAUSE...YOU HAVE TO ANALYSE WHAT DHONI DID IN THOSE MATCHES AS WELL...YOU WILL BE SURPRISED TO FIND THAT DHONI HAS BEEN TOTALLY USELESS AND FALSE POCKETING CREDIT OF OTHER PLAYERS

and Vaidya, please dont give me that foolish argument about senior players...i believe gambhir, Laxman, sachin etc should be kicked out as well along with Dhoni's group of players like the hopeless ishant Sharma...but i am singling out Dhoni because he is the worst case of them all...and for a long time....he has been the worst non-performer and the most useless player...others have at least performed sometime or the other

dubey i am tired of arguing with you. i have said almost everything i want to say on the subject of dhoni.

i will only say that you are VERY VERY WRONG in your appraisal of dhoni...

He might not LOOK good to people like you...but he IS good. His batting might not LOOK good to your eyes but with his maverick style he has been very effective, faced all bowlers and went to nearly all test playing countries and has made more than 10,000 international runs (counting tests and odi scores) with 12 100s and 67 50s in 281 innings with a combined average of 45.27 runs with a score of 50 plus each 3.55 innings. He has made this score with the same pitches, conditions and bowlers that his team mates faced. and all this while batting MOSTLY at no. 6 or no. 7.

To call a person with the above stats as the worst non-performer and most useless player and saying he has never performed at least sometime or other makes me seriously doubt your understanding of the game...

I agree with Vaiday..Inface Dhoni has scored almost same runs as other batsmen in this tour, where he is also does wicketkeeping and captaining the side, most other batsman(laxman, dravid, shewag, gambhir etc) have been a travellers with utter disgrace..

Remove Dhoni, quite a few will follow him

Understand that some players are taking their positions granted only because they have tremendous backing from Dhoni. If Dhoni is removed from the Test team, non-performing players will follow the suit. Will that happen?

well said krishnamurthy....once non-performing useless non-players like Dhonee are kicked out, other similar players will follow him....but such a cleaning operation has to start with dhoni, who was the greatest non-performer of them all, free riding on other's performance and taking CREDIT which is not his

raina is not a waste fellow. he has done exceedingly well in odi and T20. In fact he is probably our best T20 batsman. Even in tests he is just a new comer and holds promise. he has helped us win the test against SL in company of laxman. also he was one of our best players in WI tour after dravid, he hit 3 50s in tests. in fact it would not be far from truth to say that if instead of raina sachin had played those tests we might not have won the test series...

in fact dhoni has done fantastically well with the resources available with him. most of the times he has got 2nd or 3rd choice players, injured players and sometimes players breaking up DURING the match. considering all this dhoni has done very well...

rajkamal dubey you have got the false idea that ALL credit of ALL india wins whenever he has played has been given to dhoni. even his most ardent fan will not say that. I have personally NEVER said that and have ALWAYS given due credit to ALL the 10 members of the team...In fact I am probably the only player he who defends all the players who are WRONGLY or UNFAIRLY abused...i dont support only dhoni if you have seen my all posts you will find me defending ALL indian players who have been abused and criticised wrongly...

in fact everybody is aware of the fact that dhoni has NEVER ever taken the credit himself. even during celebrations he is not seen in the front as he allows his team mates to enjoy the win and the credit to the fullest. Do you recall dhoni strutting himself at the cost of his team mates after any win?

you are really silly if you expect anybody to say that any player will hit century in all the innings he played so far?

By the way do you mean to say all the other players except dhoni have scored centuries in all the innings they have played so far?

don't include Sachin in your list.Except the third test he has performed well in all the innings. Also see the individual score of dhoni in all the three matches. Is is digestible
