Tendulkar

Who are these "experts" giving tips to Tendulkar? People should just step back and enjoy the master at work. This wont last forever but as long as it lasts, enjoy and be thankful we lived in times to see a genius walk out to the Cricket field and provide the kind of entertainment that has never been seen and in all likelihood will ever be emulated. Both on and off the field the short statured Tendulkar stands tall. As Indians we are extremely fortunate to stand on the shoulders of such a giant and hold our head high in pride. What better role model could our young generation ask for?

Sachin should take inspiration from the very fact of being the richest sports person of the country and if he thinks that is not enough, he should think in terms of hanging his boots.

Heading should read - "Tendulkar should retire". Times up little master...go home and take rest.

sachin should retire so that matches can be over in less than 2 days and bird-brained moronic sachin haters in india could be happy with more than 3 days for every test remaining for their aimless barking...

lack of sports culture

there are so many sports in this world. look at olympic sports so many of them. look at china in past decade they are among top nation in olympics competing with united states. but we in india are giving more importance to one sport - cricket which is a shame. other sports should also be given more priority . long way to go for us to develop a sporting culture . sadly people are cheated here by sports administrators who are doing nothing but amassing money instead of creating proper infrastructure for sportspersons. sad state!

Mate, despite all the criticism, cricket is the still the best run sports. Look at the way other sports are run, specially where it is run by govt nominees like in athletics, hockey, football. It is pathetic. Again, people start taking interest in sports if our sportsmen do well in it, the media follows suit and money start coming into it. It is a cycle. Nobody would be interested iun something if the performance is poor.
