Sachin Should be Retired
by Akash Pandey on Jan 22, 2012 08:25 AM  | Hide replies

How long he (Sachin) wants to play? How much he wants to earned? How much he greedy? Why not he has vacate his seat for others? He tried to 100/100 for his personal gain? He cannot make 100/100 as his body goes out of his control? Now long we see play of an old man. Sachin wants Bharat Ratna for play cricket? Can this is social Cause? He could do social cause by allowed his wife for medical treatment to poors? But he feel comfortable to earn through cricket. A absolutely un-educated man got qualified wife because of cricket only. Just look high profile corrector of Late Shri Nawab Pataudi. Who won the match with his one eye. He was so qualified also. He (Nawab Pataudi) must be awarded for Bharat Ratna.

you are forgetting to mention that pataudi is the only man in the history who has captained the team while being the 12th man. there was nobody with a caliber of captaincy so he was chosen and he did it while sitting behind the boundary. a great man will never be chosen for the award, thanks to safforn minded hegemony in india.

Some people play bat and ball and get so much money for it like all other cricketers do. Crores and crores and also in IPL and the taxfree foreign car and all. With the crores of money they also build great houses and super costly restaurants for rich people to come and eat under a roof with their name.

The immediate greatest tribute to such magnificent cricketer of class of Sachin in India would be to name the National Cricket Academy as 'Sachin Tendulkar National Cricket Academy'. Also if Sachin creates academies and helps other Indians also come up to his great standards and nurtures and produces atleast one or 2 geniuses like him, then they could honour him with Bharat Ratna for great contribution to INdian Sport.

Imagine what would happen to Abhinav Bindra who won Olympic GOLD (that too INDIVIDUAL MEDAL) in a country of 1 billion people after decades and decades of no Olympic Gold for this 2nd largest populated country in the World India. One in a billion is a great achievement. So isn't he also a Bharat Ratna ?

There are so many Ratnas. There cannot be just one. Even great Emperor Akbar's court had NAVA-RATNAS. 9 Ratnas. So if Sachin should get, so also should Abhinav Bindra or for that matter Kapil Dev who won us the 1st World Cup backin 1975 with fearsome West Indies bowlers (being allrounder he scored 175 in a match that helped us reach Finals of WC 1983). What about Vishy Anand (Chess King). What wrong he did ? So much glory for India. Consider all

What difference does it make if he scores century or double century or triple century? He scored 50 test centuries from 182 matches, whereas Bradman made 29 centuries from 52 matches. Please don't blame me for this result, its fact.
