Why Ranking is False? Do you mean to say a top ranked team should never loose? These days every sport has ranking, do you mean that a top ranked player or a team should never loose?
Ranking are more of an indication of consistency and generally a consistent team or player are the one who are at top.

. My point is that, no.1 team never loose in any sport like how england lost in a cricket ! ! !
All other sports have consistency in a infrastructure and in a playing conditions.
While in Cricket All pitches are different and almost no consistency in a any part of game to other part of a world.
Lack of Artistic Fast bowling has been a long standing itch for the indian teams for a long time now. BeCause? Deficiency of C-Protien, eat it and produce bowles like ajaml and gul.
It is not as if England failed against spin only. It was only Omar Gul who made inroads into the initial stages of the Innings. So both against spin and speed the english batsman failed. It is a question of lack of technique to play the longer version of the game. Today no team has the batting capacity to dig in and bat oneself out of trouble. Dravid and Laxman in India Jaque Kallis in South Africa are possibly the few guys who can do it but even they have started failing for the simple reason no one has time today to correct the technical problems. time was if a batsman got bowled between pad and bat or through the inside edge of the bat he would go back to his nets and ask some bowlers ofthe particular type from his ranji team to bowl at him to correct his problem. But today none of these so called test stars ever meet even the state ranji players leave alone getting them to bowl at him in the nets. The other reason for the failure is the non development of the second line of strength. This has become impossible considering the big quality gap between the test and ranji trophy level as none of the test stars play the Ranji matches much. Time was there used to be rules that a player has to play certain amount of Ranji matches for his home state if he wants to be considered ffor test selection. That was the excuse used to eliminate farokh engineer from the Indian team then. Well were is the rule now. It is high time BCCI laid out some plans to develope cricket as a game rathh
PAKI CRICKET HAS MORE JUNOON THAN ANY OTHER. THEY WIN BECOZ OF THIS & NOT FOR ANY OTHER LEGITIMATE REASON!
AND YET, IT'S THE LOUSIEST AMONGST ALL CRICKETING NATIONS FOR FALSE,LOUD,ILLEGITIMATE,WRONG,FOUL APPEALS/SHOUTINGS/GIVING PSYCHOLOGICAL PRESSURE ON OPPONENTS ETC.-ALL NEGATIVE MIND GAMES!
THEIR DESERVANCE IS MUCH LESSS THAN EVEN SIMPLE SIMON TEAMS LIKE SRILANKANS-ANOTHER SOUTH ASIAN STALWART!

Exactly the point, however, the common notion is Winning in turning tracks and failing in seaming/bouncy tracks is bad, but winning in seaming/bouncy tracks and failing in turning tracks is OK.
