Even you are lazy to write only two sentences. Shame on you.
With teams like NZ being able to perform quite well in Australia, the problem with the Indian team inspite of the superior quality team going down 0-3. The team management should look at Sports psychology as another option in the future.
The gap between domestic cricket in India and international cricket is purely psychological. Similarly the home to overseas gap is also mental in nature.
The media, players and officials have always engaged in hyping up pitches to be quick and pace and bounce being a problem. But there were no demons in the pitch which shows that the mental aspect of becoming tentative affected the Indian top-order.
The two areas, indivdual mental toughness and team dynamics. For the players, form of the players, choking, making mistakes, pace and bounce fear, motivation, self-confidence and belief are some of the areas the Indian team can work on future overseas tours.
Team dynamics is divided in to 2 :
1. Social dynamics:When players don't get along 2. Tasks dynamics: When team cohesion affects the end result required by players tasks.
The problem with Sachin's goals like 100 centuries can affect team cohesion and team dynamics. In Social cohesion, when players don't get along they dont talk to each other or say things that disturbs them.
Losing your temper is another problem with team cohesion, when LBW decisions like a player of Sachin's calibre is given out. It demoralizes the team, and the process of mental dis-integration is ongoing.

What a terrific statement! As if we won all the ODIs back in England!! And as if winning in ODIs is adequate compensation for the Test defeats!!! The statement itself suggests the solution: STOP PLAYING TEST CRICKET.
1. Set a minimum age limit of 35 years to qualify for Ranji Trophy. 2. Set a minimum age limit for entry into the Test Team at 40 years. 3. Start electing rather than selecting the teams. 4. The Team once elected should play at least for 5 years. 5. Induce various quotas into the team including 33% for women.
I think when Sachin retires most 30 year group people retire watching cricket (myself included). I watch cricket only for Sachin, it's a great entertainment and pleasure. I don\'t care who wins. It\'s same people go watch Rajani or Shahrukh or Amitabh movie - don\'t care about store - just love screen presense and pleasure to watch them..count this..you need another Sachin to get me back to watch TV.
with all IPL blah..blah..hitting sixes, fours, unorthodox batting..all very BORING.. There is no classic and simple batsaman around right now..Did you guys looked at Warner\'s 180? just ugly.

So, you just follow goras? ICC should mandate every country should make a spin, flat, grass, bouncy and swing pitch..so even contest in every country (like different tennis court types).

(1) Don't play test cricket anymore. (2) Going forward play only ODIs and T20s (3) In near future, start reducing the number of ODIs and increase T20s tournaments so that this game evolves on the lines of baseball series in the US. (4) We are country of more than billion people; so cricket will still survive and BCCI need not worry about ICC or other boards and they will continue to be the richest board. (5) Promote other sports that require more fitness & stamina
This plan will save huge man hours for India which is unfortunately still a developing country inspite of getting independence six decades back
