Why Sachin?
by indira on Jan 17, 2012 02:08 PM  | Hide replies

Why Sachin is included for ODIs? He has not played ODIS after WC. It must be for the 100th ton, which, even if he scores now will lose its importance.Sachin should have refused to play the tri series. Had he retired after the WC, he need not have to face this humiliation.

What humiliation? That which Umesh Yadav faced by taking a five-for in Perth?

SURRENDER WITH FOLDED HANDS
by sudhakar chavan on Jan 17, 2012 01:20 PM

While the Aussies are Tooth & Nail fighting to see that Tendulkar does not score his Celebrated probably final ton on their soil, our bowlers were giving them only bowling practice.

Surrendering to Weak aussies
by Baskar Subramanian on Jan 17, 2012 11:14 AM  | Hide replies

This is the weakest aussie side to which Indians surrendered without fight. Their Bowling seems to be good, but batsmen failed excepting clarke, ponting, hussy in a batsmen friendly pitch in sydney, and a attacking innings of warner in Perth. Rest of their batsmen struggled and are not settled. In Perth we couldnot bowl either one bouncer or yarker to warner and feeded him with full pitched deliveries. Need not talk about our batting, bowlers could have done a better job when warner batted. Sack Dhoni from Test team, bring sehwag to the middle order and give chance to Rohit and Rahane.

As Usal Performance Away From Home
by umair on Jan 17, 2012 10:56 AM

This is not happening First Time with Indian Cricket Team on playing away from home. The Indian media is claiming that they have world best batting line up, but its collapse in a seconds. Whatever is happening with the Indian team is a best example of Hero to Zero. As they are trying to making control on the Cricket World. But i really sorry to say that this is happening due to over confidence and also Indian Board (BCCI) is trying to make alone the Pakistan in the cricket playing nation is now a slap on the Indian Board face. I really appreciate the Australian Team on their excellent performance specially Michael Clarke (OZs Captain)as he is leading his team from front

Moronic fans of Indian cricket seriously need a reality check!

How dumb do you have to be to not accept the fact that all matches in India are fixed?!

The comment by the BCCI chief proves that India doesn't play cricket, it runs a circus!

Millions of fools fall for the same trick every year, year after year making the sponsors and these talentless players rich!

Wake up people! Watching cricket is only a small break from the grim reality you call your pathetic lives!

Don't let these vultures take advantage of your need to escape from your miseries!

Please give Tendulkar a horonary 100
by Indian Guru on Jan 16, 2012 05:14 PM  | Hide replies

Bribe the Australian board to give Tendulkar his 100 and ask him to retire from his Test Career.

Ask Dravid and Laxman to retire from all forms of Cricket, except IPL.

Belter batting pitch tracks in India are the main reason for the poor performances..

Prepare 6-8 Bouncy tracks in India and have the super league Ranji Teams play on this bouncy and swinging wickets..

There is no fun having Wasim Jaffer scoring highest runs in Ranji and still not being part of the Indian Team, This spekas the quality of pitches in Indian Sub Continent.

SA series happened last year. But if you want to believe that Steyn can now not bowl as he is a few months older, you are welcome

I am not sure. If the present trends continue, we might lose the next test within 2 days.
We narrowly missed it at Perth.

Let Barking Dogs Bark Down Under
by Somnath Sengupta on Jan 16, 2012 05:08 PM  | Hide replies

Let the barking dogs bark down under. We should not pay any attention. For us Indians past is past!! We have lost this series by a mile or more. Let us now think of rebuilding for the future.

Let the wise men sitting in the selectors' chairs decide wether to discard or retain our fab five or four or three. Let them decide when and how to bring in the bench strength.

But I would like BCCI to take one positive step. And that is to announce that the contracted players will be paid 150% of their match fees and contracted amounts in any given period if they win more than 75% of the TEST MATCHES, 100% if they produce 50% to 74% win results in TEST MATCHES, 50% if the TEST MATCH win result is between 30% and 49% and "NIL" if it is less than 30%. After all we all are living in a result oriented commercial world and our remunerations must be linked to results. After loosing two important series one after another this badly, our heroes just cannot still rake in their millions!!

Any takers??

The problem is most of them make enough money from IPL, so the contract amount doesn't pinch them. Their performance review should be such that there is more weightage for successes outside the country than within it. Also BCCI should identify some good test class batsmen, and stop them from playing in the IPL. Another option could be to allow young Indian players to play in Eng county and Aus BBL to let them get used to the conditions there.
