Indian CricketPlayers!
by krv subrahmanian on Jan 16, 2012 04:11 PM

Its not too much cricket but too much of sponsorships which they accept tothe detriment of intense training to sharpen their skills and strenghthening their stamina! Recall thegrotesque dancing and buffoonery of some of the commercials starring them,
No wonder half of them not totally fit for cricket and BCCI coughs up their medical bills,.

Better that the BCCI contracts them as extras and lease their services to ad agencies so that it can also make some money to make up for revenue loss! The Indian Fans have had enough of this tamasha!
RVS Kugalur

Better that BCCI

BCCI- will be harmed from finance perspective in future
by lee on Jan 16, 2012 04:05 PM

The way Indian team is playing, it is quite evident now that this team will flourish in Indian conditions and will perish easily in Auss, Eng and SA conditions like lambs.
This means the results of indian team is quite expected and will tend the fans to loose interest from the game even if India does well in India. Classic example was the WI tour in India where the crowd was reducing. Next series in India, it will even reduce further thus impacting negatively the BCCI fundings.

As the team selection is full of politics and scare factor from seniors as well as negative dominance from Dhoni, this team will not change much and so BCCI will go down slowly.
That is the future BCCI is heading to...

The media all over the world is always take extreme steps in aodration as well as letting dwon the players , politicians or any one . The media people seems to know everything on the planet ! Ther are better batsman than Bradman and betrer blowers than the Magraw or even murli. they rae the best filders than jonty rhoides ! only thing is tha tthey play their cricket in their newrooms and there no one has to hold the bat , no ball is reqd and no filding is reqd.
These media jargons need to shut their mouth first ! We the people are responsible ofr this utter nonsence ! The media barrons and jargonists are so hopeless that they try to justify everything garbage they writer on news papars .

ikts not Dhoni or Indina players , even Australians were also OUT gainst the South Aftrica at their lifetime lowest score . What happened , the same Australians are Heroes now would be Villins once they loose !! So its a Game and We people rae fooled by these media jargons !!The arm shcir players

you stole my words buddy. As always poor Seniors (age above 35) are targeted even if they are the better among the lot. The worst this is even Sanjay manjrekar who has hardly scored any 100 is talking about Demons in Sachins head.

Strange thing is that the cricket pundits and Fans are absolute fools. How long will we highlight batting failures and ingnore the Bowling inabilities. Agreed that indian batting failed. what about the bowling? Had we bowled properly we would have restricted them to low scores and the test match would have gone either way than being onesided. Australia as a bowling unit was teriffic.
Can someone tell me in history of Indian test cricket which was the most legendary bowling Unit? None I guess. we always had individual greats but never a good unit. As long as we establish a good bowling unit we can never be true No.1 (not the media made Champions)

You may be correct. but to tell you frankly even though Australia were out with their lowest score, they fought back but what about India. did they fought back ? if the match is closely fought then it is ok but loosing the match within three to four days.... it is quite absurd. but over all Media has to be blamed for everything.

Stop Playing in IPL
by Surinderpal Singh on Jan 16, 2012 04:02 PM  | Hide replies

The main culprit is IPL. These heros put their maximum effort in IPL games and when playng for the country become zeros. You can vouch for them during IPL.

Play for Pride
by indira on Jan 16, 2012 03:54 PM  | Hide replies

Indian team should play for pride now and win the 3rd test and also the ODI series. The team must think that this Aussie side is not the greatest and can be beaten

not 3rd test, its 4th test. It would be better to recall the team instead of being thrashed by SL too in ODI
