Aussy cant become No.1 team
by Baskar Subramanian on Jan 17, 2012 11:20 AM

Australia can never become No.1 test team. Beating the spineless india cannot make them any better. They will even loose heavily against Bangladesh with their batting collapses. India only can give them the confidence to aim big like this. Not to mention SA, England, who are really better sides. and the West Indies, who are better fighters than India. As Sunny said if anyone wants his highest score, highest No. of wickets for fewer runs, Innings win, reviving career, then play against this Indian team.

make saching the captain.
by jeevan on Jan 16, 2012 07:35 AM

Let him not worry about his batting records for a change, but help lead the transition till we identify the potential captain. Unless we do like SA, to bring some one into the side and ask him to captain, I dont see any one in the current team to lead the team for a while. Demote Sehwag to replace laxman, where he truly belongs to and can help india make faster declarations.

BHARAT RATNA to Sachin, Hail Sachin
by kiran on Jan 16, 2012 12:22 AM

Sachin Deserves Bharat Ratna. He represents our politiians and Society philosophy is Leave country to Dogs and prosper personally.
Sachin is a great example to all the young people, to be great and worthy of getting Bharat Ratna we have to be selfish towards our personal goals, and country means nothing.

so defeating india makes you no. 1...

That means you agree india is the side to beat and until india is beaten you cannot be called no. 1...:-)

Ashwin is future clarke for india
by Srivatsan S on Jan 16, 2012 12:11 AM  | Hide replies

Clarke started as spinner and latter changed as a batsman, similarly i feel ashwin will become like Mike clarke in next 2 or 3 years.

in 2 years ashwin will be the leading lungi supplier to BCCI and IPL , that is what I feel. Srikkanth will be his lungi model.

If Australia need to number 1

they should replace Ponting with some promising youngster.
Ponting is growing old and will prove to be a liability in the long run..

So true, he cannot make any double centuries in a single match any more. We are tired of his centuries :)

SHAMELESS SENIORS CLAIM THEMSELVES BEST IN THE BUSINESS
by RANJIT KAR on Jan 15, 2012 11:03 PM  | Hide replies

Now BCCI must act firmly, no mercy just take strong decision and the players right from Sachin, Laxman & Dravid be immediately dropped if at all they are not announcing their retirement. The captaincy from Dhoni should be given to some one else even if he is junior in the team and his service should be only a keeper nothing else.....Rohit Sharma like new comers who are knocking the door for inclusion should immediately be called to replace all Seniors. If we are losing with young team does not matter, but we are defeated to much younger team like Australia with No. 1 No. 2 (in Black & white only)in the team and still loosing by an innings and games are over in three days then why these players inclusion be there what is the justification........Srikant is very dynamic and hope that decision takes should be like his nature

Thanx for the compliments...

Now you'd shout for Yadav to immediately retire from the Indian team, I presume? :)
