He has failed to take up the challenge. His team went in as World No.1 Team to England. He got chances in England, but he failed; citing reasons like lack of practice match, less gap in no. of days between each test, lack of key players, injury to many players, lack of fast bowlers who could cross 140km/hr mark, lack of fast bowlers who could swing the ball, lack of experienced batsmen & the most important 'lack of adaptability to the conditions over there'. Similarly, against Australia, he went with the best possible team, touted by many as 'THE TEAM THAT CAN REWRITE HISTORY BOOKS & WIN A SERIES IN AUSTRALIA', but still he failed; all the key players were present, he had bowlers who bowled over 140km/hr, he had bowlers who could swing the ball both ways, he got enough practice matches, he got enough gap between test matches(around a week between each test), nobody got injured over here, in fact he had all the reasons or excuses for failure in England rectified, still he FAILED. In both the places he could not succeed as batsman or wicket-keeper or captain. He himself has expressed that he does not enjoy the game. He is thinking of taking the best way out of Test cricket by announcing his retirement, most probably from test cricket, for lack of his performance. He has got 7 chances overseas till now, he got over two months for doing that & he has failed to do it. Team India Needed this change long before Australian Debacle.
Re: Sehwag should win this match and get Dhoni sacked forever in

A captain can't do any thing when there Top 6 Batsman is underperforming. In My opinion Gautam Gambhir and Duccan Fletcher is burden on team.
The match referee/s know that BCCI is too lethergic to take any action on the dismal show by the keeper in terms of inspired captaincy. That's why they have taken up the cudgel and handed the ban to Dhoni. BCCI should learn from them and punish the other players.
Day One - India score 12 runs more than the Aussies. Day Two - India take 10 wickets and Australia take only 4 wickets. Day 2.5 onwards - he shuts the door on the Aussies - they are unable to bat for the remainder. Man of the Match - Scalped 5 Aussie wickets and the the fearsome foursome Aussie pace could not get him out in either innings !

dont insult madan lal... this southie will have to eat lots of dosas with idly to become even 1/10th of bowler madan lal was...
For gods sake how much sooner do they wanted this game to be over. Dhoni did an incredible job of finishing the game in less than 2.5 days, do the expect all the innings to be over in a single day?

let team go for one more outing ...thats the reason they are finishing the game so early
With this ban-Dhoni plan to get himself out by slow over run rate,so he is out from the embarassement of of clean white wash from Aussies- as a captain.
