Its really a great job done by mumbai to reach the semis atleast. Maybe TN was way too strong for the depleted mumbai side. If only the TN team realised this early they could've sent any of tamil nadu's district level team to match the present mumbai team.

Salvi Agarkar etc are out of Mumbai side for good I think. By the same token, they are also missing Gavaskar and Vengsarkar.
Rest of the players mentioned are having great time in Australia.
Its ofcourse one of the great achievement that Tamilnadu done in Ranji trophy. when a State wins Ranji trophy, possibility for its players to enter into INDIA 'A' and INDIA teams quiet easy. Ranji final will be defintely watched by selectors for sure.With Indian team suffering like anything in australia, its right time for players like Abhinav Mukund /Badrinath/Vijay/Balaji / Anushk Srinivas / Rajasthan players like RR singh to impress selectors and try for a chance to represent India.Whats is most required is the pitch that they had in Mysore,Where Karnataka lost Very closely.When players get with a chance to play with Kokabura ball and on Bouncy pitches, India can perform a lot better.Everybody is talking about this and England Exploited India's weekness against swing and now Aussies.Its time now to move on, prove their worth and Replace the Big 4 [sehwag,Dravid, Sachin and Laxman]. Anyway they can't play beyond another year or two.If you start building a team from now on, Indians can restructure a team for future and be competant to Australia / England / South Africa. will it happen ?

Yes its high time the selectors started thinking about giving youngsters a chance and developed the team. Players like rohit, raina should be tried in tests also in place of dravid, laxman. The present indian team players are more worried about their place in the side, making they play over cautiously.
I wish to congratulate the Tamilnadu Ranji team and Captain Balaji for entering the finals. I wish them Good Luck in their finals gainst Rajasthan in Chennai. Make us Tamils Proud , Guys!!!!!!!!!

WELL said, sakthi. The Indian team players are not there in Autralia for playing the sake of the countryy, but for a vacation with their family for which they are paid too. Tamilnadu Ranji players are playing for their state and for the sake of CRICKET.
