India would badly need Sachin in the playing XI for 2 reasons:
1. There is a good chance that he may not get his 100th ton in the remaining 2 tests. So he should be playing in the ODI's to get them, as we Indians like records than team performance,
2. Without Sachin, there is on experience batsmen in the middle order to face Aus in Aus in ODI's. He should be used as a guiding force to form a strong middle order that should be groomed for the 2015 world cup in Aus/NZ.

your team selection is most preferable by any INDIAN naturally Now the team is looking very strong on paper,as useval.But the cup is for Aussis only,just feel like that.Other wise we have to feel bad seriously about their failuer!!!! this is Aussis....remember brother...

Bhajji was out from the team due to his bad performance. Ashwin is doing well. His batting is well in Australia. But bounce pitch spin attack can not do well.

Before it is too late the announcement of the squad for the ODI has to include Manoj Tiwari and Pujara. Though the profiles match better for Tests they are good in the field and ODIs in Australia require more application than in India. The ideal lineup should be
Gambhir Rahane Kohli Pujara Yuvraj Raina Dhoni
Vinay Munaf Irfan Ashwin
The backups are Tiwari and Unandkant.
This should be a young side and Jadeja may have to backup to Yuvraj. All these will be available for the next WC in Australia and we hope another seamer emerges. We dont know the fitness of Varun and I would rest Yadav.
