now the time has come for BCCI to take some serious decisions.

1. dont send the team BCCI on countries like australia, new zeland, england or south africa specially for playing test cricket

2.if icc presurise make a deal with the boards of above countries and fix the series in an honourable 2-2 or 3-1 or 2-1 in indias favour.

3. if icc or these borads refuse to do so,just put a ban on test cricket itself.

problems
by Abhi on Jan 10, 2012 04:18 PM  | Hide replies

india needs an experienced captain like kumble or a strong captain like ganguly to give the aussies a blow
make dravid captain for other two tests
dhoni is not of that caliber
also, india is yet to found a good replacement of sourav ganguly at no5,6 slot
virat, yuvraj all have faltered

it is not about captaincy, the big 3 is failing, the openers arent clicking, and bowlers not hunting in pairs.. you cant do much when the team doesnt play to potential, there is a little a captain can do.. and dhoni is losing his midas touch ...

baring his debut in england , gangulyy has not performed that gr8 in test outside india.just 1 century in australia doesnot make him that gr8 a batsman. he was also very good oneday batsman bt a pathetic test batsman. just because our current team is not doing good , people start telling ganguly was good, kumble was good etc. see the record for urself. kumble was captain for very short period to really judge his captaincy. have faith in team and be content that this is currently best indian team possible. nobody else if selected would have made a big difference.

ganguly was a real leader when it comes to leading the side and that one quality makes him stand tall.he was not interested in making personal records after all what a captain need is end up winning the match.

indian selectors and their favourite boy, India XI ? when
by D S on Jan 10, 2012 04:12 PM  | Hide replies

when are these jJokers going to announce the 11

otherwise, they will play without a proper plan and mechanics or without proper strategy for the 11. Not knowing who is the 11 until the end.

hope it not the same sShytee political team. Selectors should show intent that they are trying ... not sitting on their aArseee and carried away by political gangups.

Hussey is the one who says india can bounce because he want to keep the same rRascals to slam.

yes, u r spot on.. these guys dont know how to bowl on those pitches, and batsmen do not how to bat on those pitches.. the so called big 3, useless people also cannot stay in crease and make runs.. it has been a problem with indian cricket always, i dont think BCCI is really worried about it, one match if we win, they will forget everything.. unless we have some stadiums here which have such pitches, our cricketers will never learn. also the tendency to play t20 always, will never help.. ball is and always be in BCCI's court. are you listening BCCI ?

BCCI is really not worried. IPL is up in a couple of months and there are no away tests planned in 2012-2013. So they can sit back and relax
