There is nothing wrong with relaxing
by Gurjot Singh on Jan 10, 2012 06:02 AM  | Hide replies

India did not lose because of any lack of technique or skill. The mental aspect of the game finished us off. Consider Sachin's dismissal by part timer. Only if the master blaster was more relaxed facing the delivery, his century was a certainity.

How can you say that? May be he was too relaxed?

I do accept your point though

Overpaid
by hillary desouza on Jan 10, 2012 04:53 AM

I think that Indian cricketers are overpaid.Because of this money and purchasing power there are other distractions and they become businessmen with cricket caps.
The correct thing should be they are paid Rs 20,000 per test match plus performance bonus based on results,10,000 pr ODI plus results bonus. This way all the gas is gone and they they ply for country and pride. At the moment it is plain looting and no consequences.WHY?

Yeah Right!!

I can't believe he is still the captain after what he said.

I don't know if he has any sense of his responsibility for his job, but any professional individual under these circumstances would feel the pressure, work hard, figure out a way to get out of the mess.

How about if I go on a go-karting or sight seeing trip if I didn't make my quarterly numbers for the last six quarters. People will be waiting like mad dogs to chew me up if that happened. Why should this guy be spared?

After six humiliating losses you still have nerve to do this. Get back and become conservative. This is the only way to get out of the mess

xxDh0bhi

should have never been captain in any format....because he is.....a...mediocre...player, who was..hyped..just..because...he came....from...a..small..place.

Anyone could have won matches at flat Indian pitches......a raina/gambhir/or sehwag had done the same.

He was hyped as xxxcaptain...xxc00lxx. However...I have said many times....only....a...xxf00lxx...xxshowsxx...no xxemotionsxx (...hence appears... xxc00lxx) in xxchallengingxx xxsituationsxx.

Dh0bhi should be removed from Indian team, to tell all new comers that we do not encourage mediocrity.

Media has done xxgreaxxt xxdisservicexx to our xxnationxx by encouraging mediocrity by...hyping a ...xxmediocrexx..xxplayerxx...like..xxDh0bhixx.

Dhoni knows that its all over now in the series down under. Thats why the lackadaisical approach. A person who is hungry and desperate for a win wil fight till the end. This indian team has given up the fight already.

Our team travels much luxeriously with somany social agendas that cricket takes the back seat.

Why let them take their spouses with them and allow them to do prmotion of their personal interest?

Aren't they touring to play cricket and on national duty?

What's the problem
by Mature Stud on Jan 10, 2012 12:01 AM

Go Karting or any team building exercise is ton better then players out with their spouses and couple friends, doing shopping or site seeing or whatever.

Team needs to stay together and build team spirit..
