sl, we r not in a position to give chances as its already 2-0.
he has already got 4 chances. so rohit also deserves to get as many chances, after the series we will analyse their performance and decide their future

You are correct. India should use five bowlers alwyas to fight the match because India is very weak in bowling.

F! Why everyone is targetting VVS. He is a hero, who has won India many test matches then like anyone else in Indias history. When he was inform and was a regular in world cup he was replaced from World cup team, Gundappa Vishwanath conspired to put two rookies from Karnataka in his place Direcly into worldcup and India failed miserably in that world cup. VVS never had chance to represent his country in World cup, and even now everyone is after him leaving more elderly Sachin and Dravid.

Everyone including Ganguly calls for Young blood, I understand Ganguly is jealous of the other big three. But are the young players any good playing test. Imagine team with Rohit(he is a bit better), Yuvraj and Raina in place of Sachin, VVS and Dravid. India would have bowled our for less than 150 in all the matches.

Mithun is a slow bowler, this breed should be shown the door if India wants any respect. Young bowlers should be entertained only if they are around 150 mark. Ohterwise they should never be part of Indian team.

Lack of genuine pacers
by krishnan ramachandran on Jan 09, 2012 05:38 PM  | Hide replies

As the pitches of Australia are full of grass which suits pacers with lot of pace and bounce, we should always pick genuine pacers instead of spinners. We lack quality pacers and match winning bowlers.

This will not be possible. Only Dravid & Laxman are able to play in Bounce pitches of Australia. If both of them failed in perth Test, then India will be allout in less than 50 runs.

Yes Indian batting already suffered and looking un-confident at perth india may produce lowest score of tour. And VVS will get retirement Dhoni will loose his captaincy he is not been able to play good inning so far

There is every possibility in perth test that the record of 42 allout against England in 1973 may be boke & India will allout in less than 40 runs.

OUR BOWLING
by krishna on Jan 09, 2012 05:11 PM  | Hide replies

Our bowling is not even 25%match to the Aussies and so also the batting and fielding. If Indians avoid Innings defeat in the remaining 2 Test we can say that is a great achievement.Spinless batting by the so called Tigers who are in fact a rat in the testing condition.India can win only if we change the rule ie even if Our batsman touch the ball with the bat a run should be given for the great heroic.

Play with Ashwin as a batsman. I do not think any other bowler in present squad is capable of doing a miracle. So hardly there is any choice for new bowler.
Keep continue to loose one match after another.
Just concentrate on IPL.

Had you seen his performance against West Indied ODI when he struggled to score run conceweding maiden over in the slog over and also not having success in bowling, you would not have suggested like this. AShwin is far better than pathan and in fact he is automaatic choice being utitlity player.

Dhoni should leave wicketkeeping for two test matches and give it to Dravid. since pitches are bouncy Dravid need not be close to wicket as three pacers are there. Dhnoi regularly talk to bowlers and fielders and Dhoni also has awkward bowling style which is unpredictable, this might help. If you look at the any great captain, you will find they keep on doing experiments and unsettle the batting attack. Don't make any changes if you bring Rohit in and he fails it would be unnecessary pressure on Rohit and he might loose a ticket in already tough condition. Team just need confidence, they are talented enough
