we will bounce back
by Sanjeev Rao on Jan 10, 2012 03:17 PM

In the last series in Australia in 2007/08 we were 2 down but bounced back under Anil Kumble by winning the test at Perth and almost won the one at Sydney.Let us hope they do it this time also. Winning or losing is part of the game but fight till the last is what is expected.

Even now Akram can bowl and get Team BCCI reeling.

Wasim Akram was the greatest bowler ever. Am sure if he bowls at team BCCI even now, he will get these clowns all out.

But we want record. 100th record is most important. Who cares win lose?

Why do we care about Akram?
by Gurjot Singh on Jan 10, 2012 06:06 AM  | Hide replies

We have enough experts capable of advising and analyzing our cricketers. Just leave them alone. India will be back big time at Perth. Sachin is in excellent form. VVS and Gambir are out of slump and should score tons of run. Dravid is in excellent form. Sehwag should click ny time given the law of average. Australia, watch out!

Singh, I agree that we need not listen to what a Paki says always. But what Akran says is correct. There seems to be no interaction with the bowler on the field by Dhoni, or any senior players. Body language from Day-1 suggests that they want to finish the match ASAP and go away. Is this the quality of a #1 team?

Singh, Agree we should not listen to whatever anyone says but one thing only the Dravid's or Sehwag's dont win matches, Matches are won whenever the team performs as a unit. Apart from Zaheer what other bowlers are doing even australians had debutants who have been getting better and better every match. I feel the agression which is needed while playing with Aus is missing. Last time when India were in Aus they showed tremendous agression and sporting spirits (Ganguly,Kumble, sachin everyone were fire).

pakistan cricket

Pakistan cricket has an ingredient which is always missing on the India side....reseliency! spot fixing, distractions, lack of internation cricket in Pakistan and yet....they sit on a side that has not lost in 12 months, boost of 4 bowlers in the top 10 and 3 batmen in the top 15!, mentally there is a huge difference, look at the India line up, it should scare the hibbi jibbies out of bowlers....Gamb sehwag, one down with Dravid, Sachin, Dhone, kohli, Ashwin...and look at the results? ZERO. Look at the Pak batting line up: Tauseef (part timer) and Farhat, Yunus (old) Misbah (Older!), young Akmal (good talent), afridi(has been at best for batting) and yet..tenacious in the field.....pure guts carrys them.
