to perform in Australia and win test series at least one month preparation is required.
England were in aus and palyed well in 4 state games before 1st test @ Gabba and even then they were outplayed in first 3 days

Australian Batting had and does have deep problems.
Clarke Ponting and Huusey , the 3 veterans saved them @ SCG.
Not sure if that can happen again.

Clarke has to thank our bowlers for the great bowling, and more importantly Dhoni for the superbly defensive field placement.
