He will keep scoring at least 50s till he achieves the milestone, this is the motivation point for him now. But once he gets it, that is it. There is no other motivational factor. I pray he doesn't get it.

Why rediff is so bothered about sachin 100, it cannot see india losing...in australia /england,all our players are only good in india...thats it....Shameeeeee......
When Sachin plays good no other players play like cowards, when sachin get out early, all other player play better( in both ball and fielding) though not with full potential. Looks like youngsters are too jealous with their seniors!

He SINGLE HANDEDLY won the world cups .... He deserves 100 more matches even if he scores less than 5 runs per match.

Anthony, Pl note that he performaed in fina lonly, if Sachin, Viru , Yuraj , Zaheer not played in before games , we dont entered the finals itself

ganguly had the above players in the too many finals that he played and how many finals did we win when dhoni was not there?
dhoni played very few odis under ganguly but the above players played many matches under ganguly. when sachin, viru, yuvraj, zaheer and others were there (but not dhoni) ganguly created the dubious record of reaching maximum no. of finals and winning very very very few of them....
we are sure to lose the test by an innings but one should give credit to gambhir,sachin,laxman,ashwin,zaheer & ishant for helping us to go past 400 a total which we neverachieved abroad for the last one year or more.
