Our great skipper
by vijay rajan on Jan 07, 2012 09:42 AM  | Hide replies

Here is what our great over-hypde skipper Dhoni said after the match.

"What is important is to switch off from the game. You don't really want to overdo it. There may be a few individuals who want to spend a bit more time on the field, but I feel it's always important to switch off from the cricket. That really helps you de-stress a bit, and come back in a positive state of mind. I feel that rather than spending more and more time practising, what we need to do is spend some time off the field with some recreational activity and get some time off cricket."

This man was laughing shamefully after match. He should blame himself for poor captaincy and batting. Also told to take rest 4-5 days before 3 rd test as in first two some remarkable achievement has been done whereas more practice would have been better.

wake up call - atleast now!!!!!!

The way indian cricketers are performing in test cricket , one thing is clear that they are not going to put their best efforts to win a test cricket which requires longer physical labour and enthusiasm with lesser money and fame compared to one day and T20 cricket. In test cricket, Indian players are least showing the real intent to win the match. Look at the defensive aproach of MS Dhoni as if he is waiting to take his wife to a beach soon after the day's play is over. I feel the cricketing experts and BCCI must do something urgently to creat pitch conditions of variation of different countries in India and give all cricketers proper practice before planning for foreign tours. The cricketers with proper talent, mental attitude, passion and hunger should be given preference in each tour, if we are really serious to win in foreign tours.

Now the team is consisting of majority brahmans.(it seems in this country of more than a billion diverse people, our selectors could find only brahmans ). If it is entirely made of brahmsn by removing non brahmans fromIndian cricket team may be it will do some winning out side the country other than poor west indies and srilanaka and bagladesh.

Opening Partnership must be 70 Plus ?
How can we with what degree of certainty ? With Ram Bharose Hindu Hotel type attitude of opener. It is simply not working.
Dravid is virtual opener most of the time even Sachin if openers do not last for 20 plus overs...

india will lose 4-0 and possible most of the 1-dayers in australia... but then next is asia cup being played and bcci will make sure india wins that... all will then forgotten before ipl 5 and business will be as usual... coz basically most current indian cricket fans dont see the game beyond ipl much...

and all the worthless hours spent on these non atheletes. IPL and bollywood. Fake, egoistical, unethical and wasteful entertainment. True champions win everywhere. Australia never got whitewashed the way India. Let Viru score a triple century in Australia. Doubt thats going to happen. Just face it. Australia is far better than India. world cup win was a big fluke.

World Cup win was not just a fluke, it was a massive fixing done by BCCI to keep the idiotic crowds hang on to TV sets in every possible place, while BCCI itself reaping billions and distributing among themselves together with congressis

Dhoni is very cool captain and he needs to be as you have close to 5 players nearing 35 in the squad who cannot even run in the field and display very bad fielding....He needs to be Cool to control this bandwagon of ageing players..

Dear,
the runs if any scored by India so far in this test series is by those above 35. Take out the runs scored by Sachin, Dravid and see the total runs from recent 20 tests played by India. Of course if these players were not there scoring runs, there would not be really any need to field..match will be finished in 10 to 20 overs of Indian bowling

Better India boycott from playing tests
by Chat India on Jan 07, 2012 12:59 AM

I hope Indian team in its present strength are better players for T20 especially IPL where they earn money easily. The youngsters and seniors in team are more excited of IPL, Advertisements, Awards, Promos etc....for Money only. Better to face off from this shame, India can stay away from playing test matches.
