One name is missing from the elite list, viz., that of Bob Cowper of Australia who achieved the feat, perhaps against England, sometime between 1964 and 1966.

It is interesting to see what the results of the matches were. That would differentiate the 'really good 300s' from the rest. Some of them (Like Lara's 400 and Viru's 300 at Multan) were made on belters which ended up as boring draws, except for the 'fans of records'

Sofali, 104 is more than 86. You are looking at Viru's multan inning, check his other triple century made in Chennai...
