Why Indian bowlers help Aus batsmen to make records??????
by Ali M on Jan 04, 2012 03:36 PM  | Hide replies

Evrytime its the same story.. the same Aus batsmen could not score against England and South Africa ... but they score heavily against Indian Bowlers and than they become hero...... Indian bowlers are of good use but not to our team but to the opposition..

Things can b change, just throw out Dravid and Laxman out of the team and see the diffrence, this guy Dravid whenever he cames to bat it looks like that he is going to a battlefield where the opposition is ready to kill you, just see the expression over his face, fear in his eyes, zero attitude that send a very negative energy to the dressing room that lrt down down our rest of the batting, withour pitting runs on the board u can not win match Mr Dravid even if it is test cricket suppose if ponting and clark played just to pass the first day they might get out but they attack on you and you are nowhere now just spending time on the pitch is not making any player great, he hit four centuries in england but waht is the result.

Defeat of Cricket will flourish other Sports in India
by Reporter on Jan 04, 2012 03:33 PM  | Hide replies

This kind of big blows needed for cricket then only the other sports in this country will start flourish. This money making commercial sport should be banned if possible. This Dhoni guys should learn a lesson from Australia how they are giving importance to a nation game in their country.Out of 190 nations just 12 countries are playing this spoil sport.

Test cricket?
by Santa on Jan 04, 2012 03:22 PM

Each of our players (even Ranji players) is worth millions, thanks to the IPL. Who would like to stand in hot sun for 5 days, where as you play for 3 hours and enjoy with beautiful gir1s post-match, in IPL. I guess, it's high time we groom a national team, comprising players who do not play in "commercial" tournaments and who can play for national pride. We have seen enough instances of good players getting spoilt because of the "phukat-ka-maal" earned in IPL.

Lets do our predictions? For simplicity lets chose between- 25 overs / 50 overs / 75 overs / 100 overs / >100 overs. Just a small request: lets keep this conversation respectful.

Poor batter paper tigers
by KALYAN MITRA on Jan 04, 2012 02:47 PM  | Hide replies

No where in this world like in India, Media terms our very ordinary cricketrs as big super hero. Bascially barring Tendulkar & Dravid, no one is world class in moving & bouncy pitches. Also there is too much of regional related favour, see the no. of times Laxman or Ghambhir failed, yet they are in the team. I remember had GANGULY or anyone from eastern region failed so many times, it would have been a laughing stock & out so called cricket expert would have jumped in media to talk against.

Feel sorry for Tendulkar...even before he started thinking about his 'MAHASATAK', our media in so many channels predicted like anything.

Also people should understand that Ganguly was a far better captain than DHONI. Loosing 6 times in a row in outside...chaaa...

u urself are doing regionalism. supporting gaguly because he was frm west bengal. Ganguly has never won a test series ourside india baring Zimbabwe and Bengaldesh. we all know how pathetic he was against short pitch ball. he made me laugh every time he faced quality pace attack and now he is talking big.

Leadership Quality is there in every individual like Ambani Brothers but very few get their luck to get the finance to start their own business so Captaincy must be merit based not on experience look at the Australian side only one ex captain Ricky Pointing is playing in test team he is under tremendous pressure to perform!
