If we look at "Larger" Picture ,i think "Dhoni" is not giving its best as "Captain". "Dhoni" is just waiting for things to happen, the reason Dhoni has no Competition in "India" & we need to find somebody like" Rayudu" who plays like "Dhoni" "Dhoni" is "Earning" Crores of rupees & country is suffering by losing Consistently. My only Point is "Dhoni" is not giving his "Best" as "Captain" on the field...
Dont's want to blame Sachin, cause he was the most assured of the Indian batsmen today but it again points to the one blemish in his career - not able to play match changing innings. He remains a great batsman, but there has been many other great batsman. Great technique and concentration but the moment wickets start falling, he is helpless. In order to be the greatest batsman he needs to play extraordinary innings, but that is an area where he has repeatedly failed. Great, sure but greatest ever, no way, not even in his generation.
I think I have now reached the absolute final limits of patience and optimism in the Indian batting line up to handle genuine pace and swing and bounce on foreign soil. Frankly, can't even think of anymore excuses to defend this team. I know it is only a sport, but as fans we have a lot of emotional investment in the team that represents India....not just a club side....Seriously I don't see a way out of a 4-0 whitewash now. When every ball is missing the bat routinely by a whisker or two, every delivery looks menacing and a routine 26th January parade is going on, it gets disgusting to watch. I am done as far as tests are concerned. Hope they show some spine in ODI's as the field restrictions and power plays will let some edges slip by and some airy fairy shots land beyond the 30 yard circle.
Re: Ashwin - please take wickets

R U kidding, We are in need of a batsman, so Bhajji will only bat, and score 100 and ashwin will bawl carrom ball, offie, dusra, tisra all balls but will not take wicket. remember MCG
It is there for everyone to see, except for ultra sensitive and neo-positive dreamers like surya das. India are going to lose this series too by a whopping margin of 0-4, simply because there is no fifth test match to be played. Not just that: we are not going to see any fight from our esteemed batting line up in any of the matches: just like it was in England last summer. One thing is still possible though. Sachin, who is playing better than the rest of them, can score a hundred, though he has been looking good only for 60 odd. Let us therefore pray for a hundred by Sachin. This will at least cheer up some.
Gambhir flop show continues in Australia and Team india does not have a reserve opener. They could have selected Robin Utthapa as reserve opener. Although he has never played a Test match, i think he has the ability to adopt and he is an attacking player. Its very important for Team India not to concede a big lead otherwise the series is over for them for sure.

India should really try out Ashwin in the openers slot. His batting looks more assured than many of the big names. That way Rohit can be accomodated or perhaps an additional bowler.
India has to bowl the Australian team out cheaply tomorrow otherwise they will have no chance of winning the match. Furthermore, if the team doesn't draw or win this match than it will be impossible for them to draw the series, let alone win. Lastly, I just don't understand why the batsman look so fearful when they go out to bat!! Where is the will to fight, to take the fight to the enemy. Come on team India, pick yourself up and show some some backbone. Good luck.
