The real reason racist Aussies were offended by Symonds being called a monkey was that he was called a monkey by a person who they believe belongs to a race of monkeys i.e. Indians!
They expected that just because they have to reluctantly admit that Such Inn is a good batsmen, Such Inn should show his appreciation for this rare effort these racist Aussies have taken in making an exception and acknowledged a coloured person is good at what he does!

They have home field advantage but they still need to indulge in these cheap mind games to unsettle a team that really isn't that good on foreign soil!
