-being best both in attack and defense as well...allowing him to control/pace his inning on all kind of pitches
- can play five different shots on same kind of delivery
- best again pace and spin as well
- longevity .... only the best among the best can survive for long time, many players like Lara, Vaughan, who were once compared to Sachin, came and gone, but Sachin is still the best bat in the world
- being best in all formats of cricket....bet it 20-20, ODI, or Test.
Because of all this, he is considered the greatest batsman ever not only by fans but also by cricketers and commentators as well.

Shighrekar:
What do YOU want to achieve? Wishing that Dravid never scores another century? Or that Yadav never gets a Five-for? If so, I can understand your mentality. If not, then you seem to be particularly vindictive on a single performer.
Why has Sachin stopped playing ODIs? Had he played a few against England or WI he would have got his 100th ton long ago and the monkey off his back as well. I believe, he didn't get retire from ODIs. He should have played a few after the world cup..

if he does so then he will put the SEAL on himself that he plays for personal records :)

Ha ha. ur right Zubair. There lies the irony.. He's got 48 ODI hundreds already but everyone including himself is talking abt only a test hundred!!
when india went to england and the first test was at lords and it was the 2000th test and the guys on that channels were discussing more about the 100th ton of sachin and all the channels were showing some of his 100's.nobody was talking about the wicket or who will win or lose but all were only talking about sachin's 100. i was wondering why people say cricket is a TEAM game ????

Rahul dravid scored more than 99 many times in England within few days (not 6 years). Ashwin passed 99!Dont know why Sachin fans cant see that. Why Other batsman contributions are always 0 in their eyes.

thats the real problem with players like dravid,laxman,veru....their valuable contributions becomes zero infront of huge numbers of 100's by sachin

I was laughing at YOUR message about an imaginary problem with Dravid, VVS etc. :-)
Now days people who does not want others to score something, they make statements that he will score it. Ravi shashtri, manjrekar, akram, ganguly, west indies, australia are the cases
