may be V.Aaron / Ojha depending on the conditions in place of V.Kumar is a better option.. otherwise I also agree that this should be the nucleus

The media has to write something every day. They approach players for some bits. Seasoned players avoid talking. media catches these youngsters. Can Rohit say he is not ready? Can he say he is not preparing? Can he say indian batsmen are shaken? Can he say Australian bowlers below par? Could he have said we have no chance of winning? Why blame him?

The way the young blokes are talking in the media and promoting themselves --- i wonder if they are cricket players or bollywood actors. We earlier had a clown called Sreesanth who was more at home in discouthes than cricket field!
Shame on Indian public to treat sportstman as rock stars and celluloid personalities.

He was born in India, unlike you. He can play for any state he wants. He grew up in Mumbai..and he plays for Mumbai. Jhandu type people are the most racist and casteist. These type should be avoided.

The fact is the Rohit Shrma&Dhoni are OUR best Batsmen Now!But, INDIA MUST Ban TEST CRICKET and MUST refuse to PLAY Test Cricket and Longer versions of cricket matches Immediately!Seeing all the excitement of One day criket and T20 matches and seeing excitement of One Day Matches, Anna Hazare&team of patriots MUST write and OPEN letter to ICC and to all governments to BAN Boring and never-ending and time-wasting TEST Cricket and ranji cricket, duleep trophy cricket ets FOREVER? shame ann ahazare and patriots are NOT making a national agitation to BAN poverty-rpoducing and time-wasting and BORING Test CRicket Forever? Rohit must play, but not by replacing Virat who just had 1 test match bad. Instead the great Laxman should now be rested and Rog�hit should replace him. Virat needs some more test chances. Looking at Laxman, well he is great but his age has now won over his skills. He is not like Tendi who can defy age.
Also, Parhiv should play instead of Gambhir as with Parthiv there is a 50-50 chance while with Gambhir, there is 0% chance. To win Sydney test match- 3 replacements are mandatory- -Rohit in place of Laxman -Parthiv instead of Gamnhir -Ojha instead of Ashwin -Also Virat should open at 3rd position.

because Virat has neither technique nor temperament to survive in Australia. Did you see his dismissal in last test? He was shaking his head as if he had got a raw deal from the umpire whereas he was absolutely plumb LBW. He can't play the old ball and you want him to play at no. 3.

why u want to change Aswin? he scored totally 60 runs in first test. and took 4 wickets..this is the first test he played in onshore..

team should play with laxman,gambir and aswin. dont under estimate, these players are legends in test cricket.. we hope laxman will score big in sydney test..

Virat hit century in practics match.. and 2 years before he is the leading run scorer in austrlia. when india A team went to australia...

Thats what it was, a practice match. And making runs in an emerging players limited overs tournament in 2009 is not the same as playing test cricket.
