well said R jadeja will play for money just before the IPL auction he was on top gear but after that seems to be in neutral

Considering the fact that Sachin has done so much for Team India, it is duty of emotional Indian selectors and board members to let him get his 100th ton. Least we can do (including media) is be supportive of that fact.

Sachin shud play 2015 & 2019 world cup. Then he wud have played for 30 yrs cricket,which none will equal.Selection committee is eligble to chose only 10 players leaving one place for sachin.Keep it up Tendulakr,Selectors ,media and fans.

I don't understand the media the way they write about Tendulakar & the rest of the players. They haven't mentioned him as a failure batsmen after any tournament but theytarget on other palyers. I don't understand r the media scared of him r it is discrimination others.

Media is a bunch of partial people who just don't have the guts to write against Sachin even when he plays bad. But they do target any one else who under performs. Pathetic.
After the team for the Asia Cup was announced today, I have decided not to watch the Indian cricket till Sachin is in the team.
if sachin can....let him prove himself by taking his 100th ton on a foreign pitch. It's time people stop being emotional ... People like vishy anand,rajvardhan rathore,and many hockey players rank head n shoulders above sachin. Even an economic times article states vishy an and deserves the Bharat ratna more than anyone else.

Another biased comment. Anand is known for drawing games. Why cant I say that if I dont like him?, . Leander paes did he win any grand slam? (We kept talking about sachin not winning world cup or playing on foreign soil without understanding that he is successful in all places and not just in India).

ya ya ya - Leander had the bronze medal in Olympic - he has over 11 grand slams - time and again he rescued India in Davis cup. He is way way better deserving than Sachin who is a complete useless when it comes to play for the country

all the people you mentioned are great! I agree. But everyone measures sachin on a different scale compared to others. If Anand or Paes etc is successful 30% of the time, you consider them as great. A t the same time, if sachin is successful 70% of time, you say he is bad because he failed 30% of the times.
Of the people you mentioned, vishy comes close to SRT in accomplishments. Rathore? are you kidding me..

No Mr kannan, you cannot abuse sachin for failing in last 2 series. He still has fire left in him. Records are not the only reason he is stil playing. He needs support from all of us. Others to did not performed upto the mark. Y blame only sachin.

No Mr Kiran Bhanu, you cannot say that. Most of the other players announced ( played CB series) have performed better than Sachin. Take Kohli, Gambhir, Ashwin, Praveen, Vinay, even Raina and Dhoni. Just tell me if any other batsman made scores like his scores, would he have retained his place and more so given his age, which is not going to come down. Please try to understand.

mr bhanu kiran is playing the north indian card here.sachin is great accept that but way past time to retire i do not find any better than inzmam u haq ,saeed anwar or michael bevan.he is asting an youngsters chance by taking up place..............there are many talents who can play cricket in other states in india also..................

krishnan sir, i am south indian btw...sachin should have retired after the worldcup on a high. He probably was misled by his fans praising during that time not to retire...now he cannot retire with his current form...he still probably wants to prove a point. Lets not be rough on him. He gave smiles to us many times in our lives...lets give him support to retire in dignity.He must have realized that his time has come now. He will announce soon.
indian team cant fullfilled without sachin...if there is no sachin team will split in to pieces...shevag gambir vs dhoni raina vs kohli rohith like pieces so he is the real insipiration for them

its actually last chance for sachin to score his 100th 100...i think after that of sachin has some maturity should retire from 1day and 20-20...and focus on test...
