Poor Bowling

Batsmen wiped off dismal performance of bowlers. With such poor bowling, India would have never won batting first.

1. Thank Sachin, Sehwag for the good start. They could have done better, but they never did better in this series till now......
2. Thank Kohli for the explosive innings.
3. Thank Gambhir, who as usual, is the unsung hero.
4. Thank Raina for coming back to his usual self.
5. Thank our captain cool because he left Raina to do the job instead of coming and playing his "usual" defense style leaving the other batsmen to do the hard work.
6. Hope we start playing as a team again. Let us not forget that we won the WC last year by Team work.
7. Finally, for the people who call this match as fixed, "EAT MY SHORTS BLOODYPAKIS"

for him to show his coolness we have to first get into difficult situations...this did not happen today...thats why dhoni has to play coolly most of the times....that is because the top order flounders very often and we need him to see us through...this is one of those times when we played well from the start and there was no quick fall of wickets...

he did not have to play his ''usual defense style because for once the top order did well for a change and he did not have to come to the crease with score reading 120 for 4 in 30 overs as happens most of the time...

dont be delusional Vaidya...Dhoni comes at easy situations and converts then to difficult situations usually....match against delhi, when we should have won in the 45th over cos of gambhir's batting, we somehow scrape through in the last over cos of dhoni's pathetic batting

similarly, against Sri lanka, dhoni converts a sure win to a tie

and dhoni has NO batting style...that's the way he bats cos he knows no other way...total waste of a player

hehe. You are another one of those fooled by style. It is not batting style that matters dubey, it is how you put a price on your wicket and make sure the team sails through. And if you dont know the difference between 3 wickets down and 5 wickets down, you really need to start from scratch.

5 or 6 wicket down with a total to chase is a very easy situation. Good analysis dubey.

Desi junta...not sure why jealous of Dhoni. Is it because he treated tendulkar as another team member as instead of cricketing god??

We had to get out of that mentality to win a world cup..

On his slow batting.. I am not sure one should come all guns blazing at 80-5 or even 150-5 if you have to win a game. Because 80-6 or 150-6 will put you out of equation right away..When ever he has come number 3 or 4 for e.g 183 or world cup 91 he won the game quite convincingly...easily.

Needs some cricket brains..these tendulkar fans would have died before seeing a world cup if it was not for Dhoni

cricketing brains is precisely what they dont have. They seem to think 3 wickets down is the same as 5 wickets down. Bowlers are there to be hit and batsmen should just hit regardless of whether he is batting with tail or top order. Some phenomenal junk you can read on rediff.

Dhoom India
by Rock Water on Feb 28, 2012 06:08 PM

This should be one of the best run chases in the history of cricket , Sri Lanka with a big score the whole of Sri Lanka would have been celebrating till the Indians shattered their dreams. This would make many Australians think do we want to play this team which has just shown what it is capable of doing , which is impose an overwhelming victory. Not many teams nowadays can respond in such a fashion , Pak lost 4-0 in the one days for the so called home series Dubai pitches are more friendlier to Pak then their own, the 20 -20 match was so bad tha Pak could have won it with names like Afridi, Misbah all they had to do was connect bat to ball and the match would have won , They were trying hard to do justice to their sponsors BOOM BOOM by wanting to play Boom Boom Style but it was JOOM JOOM is what they achieved. From Afridi to Captain even in the previous 20 -20 match there was this left hander he is also a spinner the amount of JOOM the entire team did , it definitely called for a Qawali song in the back ground Joom barabar.
India Thou DHOOM Machata hai.
