Towards Success or Failure. I think the latter can't get better. We perfected the art of failure Mr. Dhoni.

strategy for next down under tour
by sarkar on Feb 26, 2012 09:58 PM  | Hide replies

Next time India go to Australia, one buffalo should be included in the squad to eat up the grass on the pitches, so that India can at least put up a fight.
By the way, criticizing the batsmen is justified, but what our seamers did in the grassy, bouncy and swinging pitches?

Did I say anything wrong. Why the moderator has deleted the message. Because of inefficient board, the Indian Team is in this poor condition. If they have taken adequate measures, we could have done better. Srinivasan and he entire board/selection committee should resign taking responsibility for the poor perfrmance.

If batting under lights is indeed
by piri on Feb 26, 2012 09:54 PM

arduous most of the time, then why dont the dunces who rule cricket think about handing out 'decided tosses' alternately to rival teams or otherwise discontinuing day-night matches altogether ??

Despite a string of poor performances by his team, Dhoni appears to have a true point when he complains about his extremely poor luck with the toss in games where it turned out to be of paramount importance !

Another mystery in the affair about poor performances by India is how there is often nothing beyond 'muted controversies' when members of the rival team engage openly in gamesmanship like Brett Lee did today to wilfully and decisively obstruct Tendulkar during his run-out while anything by way of the merest suggestion of an unfair advantage for India is savagely tackled by the rival team and their management and how the ICC responds favourably to them !!!

Large number of matches
by SURYANARAYANA CHAMARAJANAGAR on Feb 26, 2012 09:50 PM  | Hide replies

BCCI should take immediate steps to address the problems of cricketers.
They are also human beings continously playing cricket make them bored and loose interest thereby loose match without a fight. The board should ensure that cricketers are given proper rest and identify youngsters and try to findout new players through domestic cricket. Howlong any country can only depend on seniors to deliver always. At lease the BCCI should ensure that Ajinkya Rahane is given chance in the next match. When Pakistan and Sri Lanka can get good youngsters, is it difficult for BCCI to find youngsters in our country.

May be it is time for Mr. Dhoni to give captaincy either to Gambhir or somebody.
BCCI can also think about giving captaincy to Sachin Tendulkar for some time. Hope during his captaincy he may complet his 100th 100.

Captaincy to Sachin? Are you joking? He may be a great player which does not mean he would be a great leader. He failed as captain. A man can not take pressure of scoring a hundred to achieve a record how you judge him as leading Indian team. It is time for him to concentrate on his family especially his son who appears to be more positive and aggressive than his father in cricket.

Poor Indian fans still support Sachin. I do not understand the logic behind this blind support. Utter madness. We should concentrate more on current performance and not go by past records. Dropping Ricky Ponting is a lesson to our selection committee. Performance matters.

When will India Focus on its fundamental shortcomings?
by kallol paul on Feb 26, 2012 09:39 PM

Its not about the form of a player or the score of a match. But India is not mentally equipped and lack plans to deal with teams in foreign conditions .

To be true Champion every aspect of the game has to be looked upon and not only the BCCI revenues.

Same thing is applicable in Political sphere also.Governance is not about dousing the fire only but take much more preemptive steps towards overall growth and Global Unity.

It boils down to Individual V/s Institution wisdom.Time to merge the two.

Good play by Indian hockey Team against France.

Thanks.

Time 2 Bring In Focus to every corner and on every Individual.
