by A.K. Verma on Jul 15, 2013 01:55 PM

Bedi is biased. He does not have any cricketing vision of the modern cricket.Dhoni is a all time great cricketer of this country.

Bedi is baised... have political agenda it seems!
by CrystalClear on Feb 28, 2012 07:52 PM  | Hide replies

Bedi baised & swinging comments gives a political edge to sports.

For me he sounds frustrated & loser in the sports controlling segment.

He is highly baised and got a rap & solid reply from Murlitharan earlier in 2008 and went into face saving & denial mode.

Indian captain great performance in world cup victory left him frustrated & crying.

Excellent comments by Bedi…no doubt Bedi has been a shrewd, intelligent and a keen follower of the game…this media obsession and ridiculous glorification of a completely useless player like Dhoni has led to the current state of the team…Dhoni was never instrumental in any Indian victory but quietly pocketed the fruits of the labour and talent of the other team members
A good example is the match against Australia that India has won recently in the tri-series…the way india was playing it should have won the match comfortably in the 45th over or before…but because of Dhoni’s slow, pathetic batting India just somehow managed to win…and because of that last over six, the media glorified Dhonbee when it should have Gambhir who opened the innings and scored 91
Similarly, in the very next match against Sri Lanka…an easy win for India was convereted by the useless Dhoni to a TIE…Dhoni should be dropped

Bedi is too old to understand the game in this age
by aaaa on Feb 28, 2012 01:17 AM

His statement " How can a player representing the country make less money than one playing in IPL? There is something wrong. It's unreal. The money some boys are making is not being made by United States president. That has spoilt the attitude of the players. They don't want to play in Ranji and Duleep Trophy."

shows that he does not understand the economics of IPL. Also for his information thousands of US citizens and residents make more money than U.S president.

Kapil&Bedi are Just Jealous Cats! Ignore them, folkss&WHO cares for Boring&poverty-producing Tests any way!First and Foremost INDIA MUST Ban TEST CRICKET and MUST refuse to PLAY Test Cricket and Longer versions of cricket matches Immediately!Seeing all the
excitement of One day criket and T20 matches and seeing excitement of One Day Matches, Anna Hazare&team of patriots MUST write and OPEN letter to
ICC and to all governments to BAN Boring and never-ending and time-wasting TEST
Cricket and ranji cricket, duleep trophy cricket ets FOREVER? shame ann ahazare
and patriots are NOT making a national agitation to BAN poverty-rpoducing and
time-wasting and BORING Test CRicket Forever? The exciting One day matches compared to
BoringandNever-endingandTime-wastingTEST matches Prove why TEST matches and Ranji &dulpee trophy macthes MUSTe Banned in Poor nations since they cannot afford to WASTE Millions of man or wowman hours every year! This wastage of time has made us POOR adnd Backward aswished by the british crooks who imported this game like improting the mahatma
and non-violence dirty trick to make hindus morrons and ennuchs and lazy
forever too! ! What a Shame! ONLY One day cricketmatches, 50 over or 20 over or 10 over games must be ALLOWED to be Played in
ourcountry and ONLY on week-ends of Holidays so that we DO NOT waste millions ofhours every year and To prevent us becoming a Poor nation forever too!

bedi is right 100%
by virat v on Feb 27, 2012 10:48 AM

bedi is right 100%. he said "But there are too many conflicting interests here. Dhoni plays for Chennai Super Kings in IPL, a team owned by BCCI President and chief selector as a brand ambassador". 100% right.
this nexus isnt going to allow change inleadership.

bedi is right again when he says "Somebody had said captaincy is 90 percent luck and 10 per cent ability. Here is a case in which the entire thing depends on luck. I think his performance in front and behind wicket leaves a lot to be desired,"

8 consecutive Test Losses overseas with whitewash. Shameful defeats in England in ODI and now in CB Series.

Dean Jones is correct - The selectors of Indian team are just dummies of powerful consumer companies who sponsor Indian cricketers.

look at australians. Despite winning two world cups, for want of recent performance, Ricky ponting was discarded like a hot potato even for the match at his home ground Hoburt with Srilanka. There is no hero worship unlike in India where media also aspires for the favors from the Demi Gods to sing their song. Majority of the people are sick at the very sight of the oldies who continue to play at the cost of several young aspirants waiting to prove and keep up the prestige of the country. The oldies play more before the cameras for endorsements and fortune and through their clouts of sorts. It's high time for introspection. What better performance can be expected so long as the board is headed and dominated by persons like sharad pass and likes who are too selfish.

Rao garu, that is not true.. Our selectors also kicked out out-of-form players, ganguly and even kapil. dont just praise everything aus says/does. in fact, they took lot longer to kick ponting out. imagine what you would say if sachin plays at this level for 2 more years. that is exactly what ponting did for 2 years..
