I dont know why this non performer bedi complains against a captain who made India in top list with world cup wins....wat will he do with ppl of sachin or lazman still in team

It’s not the Seniors or Juniors that is the reason for the failure in Australia & England. It’s because the combined standard of the Aus/Eng players is better than that of India. But our Indian commentators will not agree this. Indians have never been good performers in Australia, SA, NZ etc… At the most, the margins of defeat made the difference between various overseas tours. The main reason is that Indian batsman cannot play more than (140 KMS/Hr fast bowling in India) 135 Kms pace in Bouncy tracks. Also, the Indian team for the last 10 years also cannot handle even spinners like Danish Kaneria, Panesar, even Brade Hodge etc.. less to speak about Swann, Muralitharan etc. Since, in the 90’s when even Vinod Kambli hit Warne, Warne was not considered great. But, in the later stages, Warne too became dificult to handle, but our media & foolish fans will talk only the old 90’s story. Even in Indian pitches, the same Youngistans were not able to play and were only dancing against Kemor Roach’s pace . Against, bowling speeds of less than 130 KMS/hr, our greats will trash the opposition and against great spinners like Marlon Samuels, Kevin Pieterson, Duminy etc… and Gavaskar, Shastry, Harsha Bhogle, manjrekar, Siddhu etc will continue to sing preaises which will be endorsed/nodded wildely by WASIM AKRAM since his bread and butter is in singing praises for the Indian team.

So, the problem with the Indian team is not lack of form or fitness, Unity, Harmony etc etc… Add to Dhoni’s luck evaporating and his captain cool image is boiling, we can see much super performances in Australia. To win in ODI matches, particularly in difficult conditions like Australia , the key is in taking singles, rotating the strike and not in hitting mad sixes with cross batted shots. India pitches are suited for these types of shots where even a mishit goes for a six, unlike in Austalia, England, NZ, where only a better technique matters. Since our greats (Youngistans & Mongistans) are grown up in playing in the front foot always due to the easy batting dusty pitches in India, they cannot play in the backfoot in foreign conditions, cannot play the pull shot efficiently, nor can play square of the wicket on both the sides. Also, playing in the V-area with the straight bat is considered technically sound by our experts which wont fetch any quick runs in ODI. This is the basic reason for Indian players failure in bouncy tracks

But, when the same team comes to India, everyone will regain their form immediately and the same team will create many more wonderful records. Remember that the same Sewhag hit 219 in ODI just a few months ago & our youngistans like Koli, Raina, Jajeja, Rohit was considered greatest in the world playing at ease in these tailor made useless batting indian pitches. After all FORM IS TEMPROARY BUT CLASS IS PERMAMENT according to the Indian commentators and enlightened fans like ME. Jai Youngistan & Mongisthan. Jai HOOOOOO.

Yes, rightly said about the deterioration in batting technique which started much earlier and is showing its results now! With the exception of the top batsmen like Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, the others always lacked the technique to play in true pitches! Sehwag used to be a success in Aus, Eng also because he was well prepared in those days to go after the bowling if they tried to dominate with short pitched deliveries. But the recent issue of form of these successful batsmen happened because of total lack of preparation. They are not used to being probed on the offstump line right through the day and playing IPL spoiled them too! Fast bowling has shifted from resorting to short pitched bowling to accurate good length bowling in the offstump line. That is why even Dravid was getting bowled in spite of his recent success in Eng. It is high time people realized this. They could have hired bowling machines and prepared for hours if quality bowlers are not available here. The fast bowling has moved from being intimidatory to accurate offstump attack. Our fast bowlers still spray the ball and can not match these high standards. Even Australia folded in SA when they had to confront good quality fast bowling!

Well said Mr.Renganathan. It is truly an exceptional as well as non-biased analysis of the current situation. I agree with you word by word. I seriously wonder if the BCCI has some obligations towards the commercial side as it should be mandatory for the Indian batsmen to trash opponent bowlers when they visit India. To aid they all put in some useless batting tracks where the Indian seniors as well as youngsters would come up with 100s easily.
It is the IPL which has made Indian team worse than others in Tests and to some extent in ODIs. Dhoni is not fit to be Test Captain. But in ODIs he does well if he plays at No.6 or 7 as a finisher. But he is not a great captain, as he was made out to be by the media!

Let the Australians come to India and win a single match here. Not at all possible. Everyone is lion on their own den.
Dhoni was right, after fluke first T 20, was held good condition for flat track bullies, finalist pak ..next 2 T 20 World cup dhoni proved wihout seniors how we can perform in real fast track , then why this debate, he proved it .
There is no blame game required. Dhoni was total failure in the two series, where he was tested - in Eng and in Aus. His performance in Tests is not worth considering him for Tests! In ODIs, he himself had to be blamed for defeats. He ran out Gambhir and Pathan in the match against SL to show his heroic performance! Since then the downfall started!!
