tendulkar shouldn't have been given out...
by Indian on Feb 26, 2012 08:28 PM  | Hide replies

That idi0t Brett Lee had no business charging towards the opposite side..
That clearly shows he was motivated to block Sachin's way so that the batsman does not make the crease on time. And that's exactly what happened..
Indians need to take a leaf out of Aussie behaviour and replicate it when Aussies tour India...

You are right. I think Hussey was not given out for blocking Tendulkar's throw to Dhoni and Lee blocked Tendulkar to make him runout ! And Sehwag didn't claim the runout of Thiremanne against SL ! We are systematically kept out in this ODI Triangular tournament !

true. once again its proved that icc is biased, n whatever rules r made. r used against team from sub-continent or to favour ausis /eng team only.

Story is still same
by ANIL SINGH on Feb 26, 2012 08:26 PM  | Hide replies

India can only win when sachin performs. India's last good performance overseas was in 2009-2010 1-1 draw against SA and Sachin hit 2 centuries. After that the decline of India in test series against Eng and Aus is because Sachin failed.

Same can be said about odi - Sachin was in form in WC and we won. In Eng he was not in team and here he is out of form. Those who are talking about new players India is not better than WI currently.

BACK TO THE ROOTS-BCCI WATCH
by mk seshadri on Feb 26, 2012 08:19 PM

BCCI should ban young and promising players from IPL and end them to Australia,SA and England to play league matches over there so that they can get acclimatised in such bouncy and swinging wickets.BCCI is rich enough to compensate them.Future of Indian cricket is doomed if they do not do so.It will become football/hocky with no sponsors

India does not deserve to be in Finals
by sriram S on Feb 26, 2012 08:07 PM  | Hide replies

With such a dismal performance why do we expect India to be in Finals when both Australia and Srilanka in current form are playing much better

There have been umpteen cricket tournament in which India has participatesd ,commentators/fans always end up speculating how India can qualify at the cost of other teams. That is through MIRACLES This is always the case whether we play in India or abroad.Because we play miserably we need to depend on the results of other teams to qualify. In short we are always praying for miracles But if we deserve to lose we should and carrying baggage like Sachin,Sehwag,Gambhir and Raina day in and day out We SHOULD LOSE.We are NOT WORTHY OF MIRACLES IN CRICKET But, once back in India and a series against Bangladesh is won all will be forgotten and forgiven

Team India
by indira on Feb 26, 2012 07:44 PM

The Indian team needs a revamping with immediate effect. Drop Sachin, Sehwag and Gambhir from the team. for both ODIS and Tests.Players howmuch great may be have to be dropped when they don't perform.Sehwag only talks and doesn't play and he is also a trouble maker and wants captaincy at any cost.Sachin is past his prime. The team cannot go on losing, in pursuit of his 100th ton forever. Gambhir sides with his Delhimate Sehwag and doesn't support his captain. Dhoni shoud be retained as captian and in the absence of the above three, I think.
the team will play around him and will perform better.
